My suggestion. Take Emilys feeling on the matter and write them into something to drop into the main thread.

That's pretty much how the Wyld/Zia romance arose............ Long story

Oh, I'm sorry, I think it wasn't clear, but this are her feelings at the moment, the restlesness, wanting to end this quickly, but also knowing that without integrating into the group she probably won't survive. She now is looking for her place in this group in a rather cautious way.

@Kel.

Mia and Gizmo? Probably around the same age.

Gizmo's going through his sulky phase atm though when he's not swiping stuff to upgrade the Valkyr.

Crikey..... What will he say to Wyld when he see's all the Shrapenel and scorching the Harvester visited on her?

Valkyr needs a bigger gun.

The Soniris are on the way back to the Valkyr. The question is will "Mom" be safer at Bastion or where she is?

I'm gathering "momma" tapped into the STG database... I guess that's the thing about not being able to out run Salarian accounting.

Momma, being an AI, can flit around all kinds of databases, records, new casts, school records, medical records, central or not..... She's an AI who exist's as information within a sea of information. If there's something in there that raises doubt, she'll look into it. Which all started when Wyld asked her to find someone with a broken limb Wyld could treat to see if the OSS works. She's basically Gil Grissom from CSI when it comes to data being altered.

Which also means, she knows how to make all those records disappear or change them in the way that no one notices the alterations.

Wylds told her to stop prying so she's backed off. But Momma's not someone you can just delete information from. She's a free thinking synthetic who is essentially a year 1 version of EDI.

Momma and Wyld have a rappor going. And Momma is basically a surrogate mother to Gizmo...... long story. It's back in the thread somewhere.

Momma may also be going into the Bastion systems to do a little house cleaning and upgrading in the future.

Not sure what Marisa's going to do. The option to come to Bastion is open since Wyld left an open invitation. Whether Marisa chooses to stay or go is up to her.

But Wylds definitely going to querying more about Soniri's dancing. Wyld nearly went pro before her accident. It's something she's tried to keep going, but all her previous prosthetics made it extremely difficult till she got her latest ones

If it's safer there Marisa will go and stay in the pub. If alpha keeps getting raided, alpha is not safe.

@ Felicia - Naleena - I'm pretty sure she pole danced at Afterlife for Aria. I'm also she's done a few jobs for Aria through an agent but did not know they were for Aria. Remember, she was a freelance contractor.

And she knows the score which is why she decided to steal an identity and become a war hero to tip the scale a bit in her favor, and now she's got an "in" with the Spectres, and if that goes through she's in the clear. The Spectres just hired their next Asari Saren, Tela Vasir and she'll have her deep in road with the Asari Councilor then, making sure the Councilor's back is protected, and just when the people of Omega think that they're free from Aria, she shows up and beats the crap out of whoever was trying to run the place.

Now the question is, do they have a pole in the bar? Because the sarge may make a grand entrance when she sees her squad. Put some music on.

EDIT -- I had to scratch Saren -- Saren was an idealist and had principles. Vasir was not.

momma - “Perhaps she only cares of her own well-being, and has calculated that her odds of survival are greater working with a greater whole”.

That's not fair! But in the end, momma, isn't that what everyone is doing? Hasn't everyone calculated that the odds of survival are greater working with a greater whole than alone? Each space empire did that when they formed joined the alliance. They really only cared about their own well being, even Earth.

All of you.... so self-righteous. The only difference is that she's at least honest about it.

@SJ: Re: the Pub. Its an old english pub. I doubt it has a pole specifically for dancing. However, I'm sure those who are creative can figure things out. And they probably don't even need a pole...

re: Momma & the Destroy ending: I will argue until the end of times that there is no way code is a proper excuse for killing all sythetics. Having said that, the ending of Destroy is that everything with reapertech gets wrecked. That includes the Geth Primes I loves so. Does it include Momma? I don't know if she has reapertech or not.

Anyway, as it pertains to Momma and Naleena...again, at the end of the world, whether Momma knows about 'sarge' (and let's say she does because she's all smart and stuff) I think SJ and RB, you could -this is just my idea- look at it from the "Let's make this story entertaining" standpoint. Maybe it helps Wyld become on the in, but understand, Naleena. Maybe it helps Naleena become more integrated into the fight, being understood, and maybe Wyld becomes able to accept the cruel, but necessary, weapon of war that Naleena is. It could be their secret as well as Marissa's

These can be interesting story points between characters is how I look at it. And who knows what happens between here and the end of the story? I think that you both have characters that can build from the whole thing.

@RB: hah, I forgot about Gizmo's age. Well, I imagine Mia being about 10-11 so maybe younger. Still, no doubt that Gizmo is the closest person to her age around. That's actually adorable! Mia could get into fixing things with Gizmo. She doesn't know a lot but would be super interested. And Mia's claim to fame is being a tunnel rat. Could be fun for them to talk about.

I had to throw that TIM line in... sorry.

Naleena is a tool of war. She is one of the cleaners of the galaxy. She has worked for systems governments, drug cartels, industries, terrorist organizations, private parties, and has never met or known for whom she was doing the work. She has always worked through agents. She would have an IQ around 160.

This was supposed to be some little short story to go into my FF rewrite ending of ME3. It's long, now. Just the Asari section is very long. I can't believe it. The characters just grew. It started out just the Sarge and Shayrana getting to this safe house and meeting up with the survivors. The sarge was just supposed to be a minor player. It was supposed to be Ereba and Shayrana. But then there was T and Ranassa, then the Sarge took on a life or several. Erikka just was the airhead. Then Marisa came in, and if the story were to continue there's a possibility of ol Sgt. Brooks having a story.

What happened?

Then writing a character like the sarge who is a real despicable person, but still has some redeeming qualities..... well, a few.... maybe?

Naleena's Spouse: And how was your day dear?
Naleena: Oh fine, Assassinated a couple of government officials. It'll be on the news in about NOW. How was yours? (kiss) (pours drink)
NS: Oh, same old same old. Went shopping, Bought this lovely throw rug for the living room.

True. When Wyld told Momma to drop it she said it was because she didn't care who she was. Because Wyld thinks Soniri is on her side.

Momma meanwhile keeps listing other possibilties for the sake of listing other motivations. Momma's not able to interact with people the way Wyld can on account that no one can see or hear her without the helmet. As such, Momma's cut off from people and has to try and discern who people are without being able to probe people motivations by asking them questions. Momma's still growing and needs interaction's to guide her action's. Wyld's interations have already seen Momma stopping off to help those in front of her rather than return for Wyld. Wyld thinks that was  a good judgement call.

Your right in that everyone's pulling together into a greater whole. Even the Outcasts, Misfit's and Trr-Eff.

Basically, Wyld's holding judgement while Momma spitballs.

I think Naleena and Wyld will get along quite well. Both dance. Wyld could use a few tips and she'll take anything to get her grove back.

One of Wylds other issues is that she's got a personnel identity issue. Over the course of the evening she's had to grow outside her own boundaries in several ways. While this is good, she knows that some of these growths will not be looked upon favourably.

One thing she building up the courage to do is tell her mother that she might be gay. But she's not sure if she is yet. So she really needs a heart to heart with Zia later on to try and settle things with a cryptic Zia.

There's no way she can tell her mother if there's nothing to tell. Plus her mother's not going to take that news well

I do enjoy having a character develop their own voice. Because from that point on, the character speaks on their own. We just let everyone else hear it ^^

Plus...... Having read that Wyld thinks Soniri looks good in her leathers.....

Oh boy.... I can't just let that one slide by without developing it.... especially since Wyld want's to check out her dancing skills. Front row seat in the pub if it happens!

Wyld will have to bide her time though.....She probably the worlds most awkward flirter and Soniri's mother is in the back seat..... I'm sure she looks good too.

@Red
My plan was, when Jan is back, and when she gets some time alone with Zia, that Zia would spill her guts to her (well as far as her past goes, the rest will have to wait until Zia figures out what exactly this 'rest' is)

Michael's was organising Mako action's in the field so it can just be another generic Mako. Which means the Mako's are now operating under a new task master till Michaels get back.

Rotating the Mako's in and out. Means Mako's are always in the field and some are always in base.

Yes I think I even hinted rhey go out in shifts in one of my previous instalments.

Well I suppose when we're all back in Bastion, we're gonna have to coordinate a lot more. I can't be writing a scene with Zia in the pub, and you're having her repaying Wyld somewhere in the ditch at the same time.

Just give me a heads up when you plan on writing Wyld's return, so I know when to hand the girls over to you.
