At the very least..... The armies arrived and the recieving area's in chaos!

The good news is that all the characters are now together again. The camp is teaming with people wh are being held in the front entrance till Radcliffe comes along to sort them out. (And probably chew Wyld out. I'm pretty sure he wanted Alliance soldier's, not anyone and anything she could scrounge up).

And we've yet to meet the leader of the Tee-Eff and the illusive and mysterious MisQueen......

On the plus side, @Kel Patterson has your bikes ready for collection.

The Soniri's are now in proximity to Artemis.

And Momma's got LOKI.

Sadly, not all the characters are together again.

But it is cool that there's an army in the base!

Sooooo. With Wyld having been dragged from one end of London to another, I figure the girls due some down time.

Her armour and rifle however, didn't make it.

She needs new armour, but alas, Sully has nothing in her size right now. Hence, she's getting a standby outfit.

Zia should be happy at least. Less fasteners to undo.....

I was wondering what to do with her armour, then decided that, being in Bastion, she wouldn't, or rather, shouldn't need it. Plus, with her recovery still ongoing, she has time to sit back for awhile. Plus, she's got alot of stuff to help with at Bastion.

Plus, having a military officer in civilian duds might help them settle in.

Still working on that. It's more machine than person so it's harder to draw. So many bit's and pieces......

Then there's the really hard bit. Figuring out how to marry massive tyres to the chassis!

Name:  Jonathan Masters
Callsign: Shadow
Race: Human
Age:30
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Theme Song: RipTide Music - Pioneers of the Apocalypse

Anything Special?: Jon is a Slayer class close range assault biotic. He can typically be found sporting a Crusader shotgun and his tailor made monomolecular sword. His N7 Armor sports a variety of upgrades and implants to facilitate his combat expertise and prowess at close range.

Family: Jon is the middle child of a 3 sibling family. His parents lived on Earth and died during the initial invasion. His brother lived on a colony that was attacked by the collectors in the fringes of Alliance territory, and his sister is a reservist who was recalled to service, currently posted in the 5th fleet assisting with supplies procurement and construction for the crucible.

Likes: Writing, Drawing, Poetry, Art in general. Enjoys reading old world tactics and military history. Alien close quarters combat techniques, specifically the Asari and Drell.

Dislikes: The Collectors, Reapers, Traitors, Cowards and Indecisive Politicians.

Personality: Jon is a perfect dichotomy of mellow calm, and excitable energy. He's a hardened veteran soldier who's seen enough combat to keep his cool under fire yet still young enough to have a bit of an attitude and ego about his skill. He's charismatic with his fellow soldiers and stern of smoldering steel against his enemies. He gives no quarter unless it benefits the current tactical scenario. He's proactive and aggressive in most everything that he takes on.

History: Jon is a career soldier. He knew that from his first day in Uniform. The lifestyle, the training, the regimen, the order. It gave his life the purpose he felt it lacked in school. He began the military legacy in his family. Being adopted he counted himself the first even though his grandfather and cousins served as well, they weren't his blood relations and didn't count. He fought agains Batarian Slavers during the Skylian blitz. Platoon was order to make a strike against a weapons storage and transportation gig.. They destroyed the cache and anyone connected and very quickly they were going to get so much more than they bargained for. The batarians came back in force for revenge. The battle was long and bloody leaving only Jon left alive.

It was on that day he recieved his N7 recommendation. He swiftly accepted. He quickly underwent several operations to update and advance many of his implants and biotics.  He opted for a monomolecular sword instead of using his biotics to attack with in melee. Saving his biotic strength to channel more into his charge and phase disruptor blasts. His first mission sortie was against a Collector attack on a colony in the Terminus systems. His team was able to stall the attack but the colony still suffered a 25% loss of it's total personnel. They were recalled for debriefing and downtime when the Reapers hit.

He railed at Command for sending them on missions elsewhere in the galaxy while Earth was burning. His team was sent to back up Alliance operations in locations previously operated by Cerberus or that held Cerberus' eye. They were also sent on blocking missions to halt and stymie Reaper advances. As the Crucible neared completion Hackett and Anderson recalled he and his team and sent them to Earth. Their objective was to disable and disrupt operations in London to prepare for the final assault on the connection beam to the Citadel.

His team took heavy losses and he was cut off before long though. On his own he struggles to link back up with other forces to continue the fight.

RP Sample:

The night burned as building fires raged in all quarters of what used to be downtown London. He had a friend from here once. She used to be like a sister to him. The odds of finding her, and alive at that were slim to none. He took an inventory real quick while he had a moment. His Crusader was busted. Smashed against a Brutes head. He'd picked up a Tempest and Eviscerator along the way. They'd do well enough. Not as hard hitting, but they were also lighter, and left him feeling lighter on his feet which was always a good thing.

"Hostiles closing in." His built in VI alerted him. "Great..." He muttered. "Make up of opfor?" There was a moments pause. "Based on height profiles and mass estimations, targets are likely composed of Cannibals and Husks."

He grinned as he plugged the shotgun from his back, it telescoped out to field mode in his hands. He could hear them scuttling up on his position. Bracing his shoulder against a piece of broken column he riskeda glance over and spotted a half dozen of them. Roaving patrols. The Reapers used them to locate survivors for processing. To the common civilian they were an overwhelming force. He was anything but common, and far from a civilian.

He took a deep breath and remembered his parents. His brother and family.  Stood up locking his sights on the nearest Cannibal. He could feel the prickling hum of energy enveloping his body as the electrical currents raced through the Ezo laced through his syetem. A quarter of a second later he warped 60 meters and slammed clean into the mess of them. The biotic blast alone killed 3 of them within arms reach. Another was knocked to its feet. He executed it with a shotgun blast. The remaining Cannibal attempted to graple him. He teleported away from the attack in a tingling vortex of ezo and electricity, drew his sword and removed the Cannibals face. He twitched his blade to flick the gore off it.

By this point the Husks had reached his position. They were no threat to him alone. Nothing more than tragic cannon fodder. It pained him that he was forced to kill converted versions of his own people. He wondered if the Turians, Asari and Batarians felt the same way as well. Several shotgun blasts devestated the herd of them. He drew his sword to finish the rest. Removing limbs and heads with angered wreckless abandon. By the end of his spree he was once again all alone.

playoff52: Well all right! Another character entry! Speak up if you need anything and looking forward to your writing. I'll send FH a message regarding your character.

For everyone: I have a lot to write so am breaking it down into sections. Which works better anyway, in case someone else jumps in with events. All good here. Wish I could get more done sooner!

Haha, you have an honest question, but um, hahahahaha....:D

I've actually started re-reading everything from page one. The time writing all goes into new stuff. Heck, I can't get new stuff done fast enough.

What could I tell you. Um, if time permits, I'd say just start from page 1. But for current events, you probably should know there was a big to do about blowing up a reaper processor on page 6, and then the scenery changed. So for now, you could eliminate at least half of what was written, until you have time to go back. We're pretty thorough about referencing the beginning parts of the story though, so I would get to read them as soon as you can when it comes to interracting with the characters.

For now, I would simply say, if you just want to get cracking, I'll send you a friend request and invite you to our behind the scenes group. There's a summary about Camp Bastion, which is where our fearless heroes are more or less gathering for a final push to the conduit. Also in the plans are helping Shepard destroy the Destroyer with special missiles. Captain Radcliffe is the camp commander and he just recently received an influx of civilians who have been fighting against the Reapers. Other forces too are on their way.

Hope that helps and yes, I offer you my sincerest condolences for reading from the beginning when you do :D

The story thus far: (Though alot more than this has happened, believe you me).

A disparate group of soldier's fighting the ground war of the battle of London have been taking the fight to the enemy in anyway they can.

Cut off from command, due to Reaper's dropping from orbit on top of camps broadcasting command and control signals, our plucky hero's have been forced to adapt and survive.

Some have gone out to rescue survivor's while others teamed up to survive and attack Reaper hidden facilities. They have lost comrades. Gained new ones. Discovered an unknown group of civilian survivor's, dubbed the Misfit's, who are helping the military strike back against the invader's of Earth.

Meanwhile, others have been helping re-establish command and control, which inadvertantly led to the discovery of a hidden Cerberus facility that was subsequently destroyed. Leading to the death and subsequent rebirth of one of their number due to a Cerberus experiment involving creating biotic humans out of non biotics.

Another group came across a woman known as Jack and her Grissom Academy students, who, after seperating to take the injured to hospital, assisted another group in destroying a Reaper installation.

All of which, eventually led these people to Camp Bastion.

One character from Bastion was tasked to go back out into the field and bring back as many Alliance soldier's as she could in order that Bastion would have enough people to make a beam run when the order came down. This person found a hero of the Resistance who had in his possession, a woman, who told the officer of two groups of armed civilians, who were better trained than most, about to go to war with each other in order to occupy a bunker the Reapers had not detected.

After some time, this officer returned with both groups, consisting of a Misfit Militia of humans and aliens, and the pro human party known as Terra Firma. Their arrival caused an uproar. And the officer responsible warned that both groups still harboured grudges towards the other.

Bastion has managed to survive by not broadcasting any communications. Instead, relying on a fleet of Mako's to go out in the field to relay and gather intelligence. However, thanks to an Alliance AI who communicated with the Normandy's AI, they now have the encryption key's of the Reaper's and can now mask their transmissions. The Mako's are now able to return to their more normal routine patrol's and transfer's of personel and equipment.

Just remember this.... That group of Asari Commandos in the Pub that now has a pole in it and they're a bit tipsy and a few are pole dancing. There's one of them who was pole dancing earlier. Don't make fun of Asari for pole dancing. The Turians have a saying: "The Asari Commandos are the toughest warriors in the galaxy. Fortunately there aren't too many of them." This squad is the toughest of them. One of them is a sociopathic killer among other things, two are just plain bad asses, one is an infiltrator and half-krogan, another has a medical condition, and then we have the "airhead", but she's from bravo squad.

You have to read the descriptions on the planets. "The reapers landed and the Asari retreated into the forests forcing the reapers to commit many more ground troops than they wanted for little gain."

Wyld is genuinely appreciative of the skill those gals show on the pole, wondering how she could develop those skills since she's more of a dance floor dancer.

Or she would be, if she wasn't outside trying to organise the chaos outside.

She hear's two privates talking as they hurry past. "You hear the Asari are dancing in there"?

"Hell yeah! Lets check it out"!

Wyld glares over at the pub. Then jerks back as she narrowly avoids equipment being offloaded by the Tee-Eff.

You people at Camp Passion. Having all the good times. Sullying the name of the pub and all that, okay, it had to be done. Someone's going to have to post a guard at that place soon, and there's probably going to be a line.

Shepard better keep distracting those Reapers so we can get on with the awesome at Camp Bastion. We know the characters really in the spotlight here!

Steiner stands at the door turning away two Volus dressed as bridesmaids.

"Your names not down so your not coming in"!

The two Volus turn and stare at each other. Then try to go around him prompting Steiner to activate his suit, prompting a computrised voice to declare. "DEVASTATER MODE ENGAGED"!!!  Followed up by his heavy melee stomp.

With one Volus dangling from his hand, Steiner grabs for the other one, who leaps out the way and starts running down the street.

Lotsa light in Rea' melding?

Hope she's on birth control

Or can control the meld well enough to not have the little pitter patter of little blue feet afterwards.

I'm just saying, good melds are safe melds.

Amy Babylon.... What to do with her.... She's hi-jacked the story in the past, so how to treat her in the camp......

Well, those news screens need something on them. Maybe Amy could licence herself under the, as then modern day, British Broadcast Enterprises.

LOL!

I end up sitting at my desk all day long and here I watch this show up instantly.

Um, okay, let's talk the birds and the asari :D.  I believe that joining 'in that way' is a different experience then melding, mkay?  At least as far as I understand ME lore.  You know, Liara has a few episodes of sharing memories and then there's the bed scenes.  We don't even know if those scenes lead to blue babies in her and Sheps last moment if they had one (thanks to no closure!  But that's a different topic).  So, I would presume that asari have the ability to control if they 'go there' or not.

Or you know, there'd be a LOT of 'little solutions' running around at this point.  :D

Amy Babylon needs that limelight.  I'm willing to bet she's going to try and find a way to get it.  Her fancying herself the great kingmaker and all that...
