Tonight I'm gonna see if Arkeer still has it in him ;)

Any weapons suggestions for a Krogan soldier for platinum?

@FavoriteH: Okay I totally PM'd you (you saw it already, we are now scheming....)

@FF: Nice! Multiplayer, I've poured lots of time into that. :D If you don't want to go for standby krogan Claymore action, there is always the Raider, and it will survive platinum. Two shots as fast as you can pull the trigger!. Not for platinum, but for fun I love the Graal and the Striker. Note I do not ever put a stabilization mod on the striker and hold the trigger down the whole way at close range because that's the KROGAN way to do it! And of course, incendiary rounds.
BTS: Yeah, Rea is an adept, though like most of our characters, is probably higher level than they let you be in MP mode ;) Basically one of my favorite, if not my absolute favorite, classes. Rea would probably be a 3/6/6/6/5. Low level stasis, Warp and Throw all for damage (not recharge nor area), training to enhance biotics, and fitness for shields (stops at 5 because, you know, Ranassa would be like a 6). Kit her with a Paladin and Commando Gear for before BoL.  She's all screwed up now so you'd have to give her a Phaeston and Mattock, which she techically can't have...

I'm getting back to the PMs now. Thank you everyone for replying!

And to the new writers: Get yourself in the story! :D

@Kel
AA was my favourite kit before the Earth dlc. Also ran her 3/6/6/5/6. Ah the nostalgia of the days farming FBW, geth. Rea was unstoppable :)

You know after we talk we could go on a mission and slip in the back door up onto the Citadel ahead of Shepard, and really mess things up.... like open the Citadel.... and write our own ending.....

The Asari Commandos Artemis Platoon Alpha Squad (what's left of it) sneak around the back and go up the beam into the Citadel.

Ereba: Damn, this is a mess up here.
Shayrana: What are they doing with all these bodies? It's like that mess down in the underground... not as bad though.
Erikka: And what are these bug things?
Naleena (Sarge, aka Nasyra): They're called Keepers. They seem to be occupied sorting the corpses.
"T" : I don't like the looks of this.
Ranassa: Just follow me. Come on out you ****ers. Old painless (minigun) is waiting. What the... a wall just moved. Looks like a ramp of some sort where we can get across.
Naleena: Keep moving. ........

They cross the ramp and go up and ...

Ereba: There's some kind of panel. Let me see if I can get this thing to work. Watch my back.

The Illusive Man: What do you think you're doing?
Ereba: Opening the gate.
The Illusive Man: And then what?
Ereba: And then I'm going to send the reapers to hell.
The Illusive Man: You're angry.
Ereba: Hell yes, I'm angry. They killed my friends, my family, and you're in my way. So yeah, I want to send them to hell.
The Illusive Man: And waste this opportunity? (seizes control of Ereba, and a couple others)
Shayrana: You're wasting time!
The Illusive Man: When humanity discovered the mass relays...
Naleena: You're what? 50? I'm over 300, ****. I was traveling in space when your kind was just discovering the internal combustion engine. Get your mind out of my friends head, ****. You think you can control me? You think you can control the reapers? (slaps a biotic field around TIM's neck) You look like a half-husk, so I can assume you're the enemy. If you have any gods, start praying. (throw -- > TIM goes flying out through the kinetic barrier and into space). Okay, so that's one down.

Ereba finishes opening the Citadel.

Hackett: Son of a ****, she did it.
First Officer: Uh, sir Shepard is still on the ground.
Hackett: Then someone got through, get that Crucible in here!

Ranassa: Now what the **** do we do?
Hackett: Whoever is on the Citadel. This is Admiral Hackett. Good work The Crucible is on its way.
Naleena: That's us, sir! Artemis Alpha Squad. Asari Commandos.... So, I guess we wait for the Crucible.
Ereba: Wait, you're 300?
Nasyra: Did I say that? I meant 160.
Shayrana: Sure, Sarge.

Crucible docks....

Elevator takes the group up to the level.

Ranassa: Who are you?
Child: I am the Catalyst.
Ranassa: What the **** is the Catalyst?
T: I don't know. Ereba?
Ereba: I don't know. Something that does something?
Erikka: ****! My battery went dead and I was on the final level. I told you guys to buy me a new one.
Sarge: So Starboy, what does this Catalyst do?
Child: I control the reapers, they are my solution.
Ranassa: You are so ****ing dead!
Sarge: It's a hologram. Bullets won't hurt it... I don't think. So what do you solve?
Child: Chaos.
Sarge: By making more chaos?
Child: No we harvest advanced organic civilizations storing them in reaper form, leaving the younger ones behind just as we left yours behind the last time we were through.
Shay: And then you make them do this **** the next time? What a ****ing ass hole! He dies.
Child: Your being here the first organics ever proves my solution won't work anymore.
Ranassa: No ****. I say we space his ass.
Ereba: No argument here.
T: You don't hear me disagreeing.
Shay: Me neither.
Sarge: Erikka?
Erikka: Hey, whatever you are. Do you have any new power cells?
Child: No.
Erikka: Space him.

Starboy goes flying out into space.... the illusions of the tube, and control rods vanish -- no synthesis because these asari weren't part synthetic. And in the middle of the "decision chamber" there's a big box with a switch on it that says "Reaper Off Switch." Ereba walks up and switches it to the off position. All the reapers die and the switch burns up.

Admiral Gerrel: "All fleets. This is Admiral Gerrel. The Reapers' defensive line is broken! They're completely helpless! Keep firing and finish them off!"

Garrus to Shepard: "And there go the Reapers. They sure left a mess of things. Earth, Palaven, Thessia, Khar'shan."
Shepard: "Who the hell got up there anyway?"
Liara: "Yes.... yes.... They're being picked up by shuttle now. Rumor has it that it was a squad of Asari Commandos, and wait until Joker hears this..... the one who fired the Crucible was last seen pole dancing at Camp Bastion. That'll teach him to make jokes."
Hackett: "Shepard, I'm seeing a strange glowing thing that looks like a child flying away from the Citadel. What should I do?"
Shepard: "Does it look like a boy?"
Hackett: "Yes, it does."
Shepard: "Fire your main gun at it, sir. And don't eye ball it. That thing is dangerous."

Now this does not mean that the story of the Misfits and Everyone else gets to be over, you know. It just means that the war is over. We still have a lot of stuff to do.... like get the distilleries going again. Image IPB

Wyld stodd before the armies before her. They were ready. They were focused. The time was now.

"Let's do this peop....".

At that point Percy Pike wandered over to her trying to not be noticed. He slipped a piece of paper into Wylds hands and he sidled off as she unfolded the parchment. Read the note.

"Huh....". She said, crumpling it in her fist. "Okay. War's over. Artemis already killed the Reapers. Go back to your...". She looked around the ruins of London. "....Home's? I guess? I don't know...".

From the far back, the unmistakeable voice of Baldurjack could just about be heard. "they stole my moment"!!!!

Hooray playoff for making an entry :)

Btw your sig feels to me like it's directed towards my writing :D
Something my brain keeps telling me when my hands do the opposite while I write.

Anyway, glad to see you committed and hope to hear more from Jon.

Next post, Wyld in the infirmary.

I'm thinking that the M-13 Raptor would be a good fit for Wyld as a replacement rifle..... sniper..... but rifle.

It's got a fast fire rate to allow her to surpress enemies. It's got the precision to hit over a long distance. It's got a higher thermal clip capacity. Which for Wyld would be handy.

Will have to get Sully to do some out of game mods to give it burst fire capability, but aside from that......

Either that, or maybe N7 Valkyrie. The next model up from the Avenger

Yah, the crowd is begging for an infirmary scene :D Well, so our characters can finally meet. At least initially.

I've been smacked in the head without the ability to do things too. Pushed the last pieces of work through and am attempting to collaborate with peeps, and there's some other stuff I want to write too. But it really is waiting until you write Wyld coming over to the infirmary after Rea sees her in the distance saying hi to Zia as she sits with Rothan.

There are ideas for tech stuff, yet despite all I've written I STILL can't find a moment to sit down and type them out to you to at least give you my thoughts on your question.

FYI, you know Dat Quarian, he's good at tech stuff, btw.

Kudos to playoff52 for writing your first piece. Come on in!

@SJ: Nice on the ending change!

Why not a Lancer then. Jan wouldn't have to worry about thermal clips for the rest of the war:D

You kinda predict the near future with that momma Zia omni scene :)

@Julia
Where's the rush? I mean I don't remember us specifically setting the time. If you look at what we have so far, if we say the beginning started parallel with Shepard landing on Earth, it would suggest that we exceeded that time period two times already in our story.
I mean if we did it by the original timeline, it would have all been done in 5 pages. I think that RPG wouldn't be as half as much fun as ours.

I don't think we should rush but action should happen eventually. Right now, and you can see from my wishlist, I'd like certain things to go down at Camp Bastion. And that list could be added to. But of course, I would like to see us eventually get on with this attack.

Now having said that, I am becoming a bigger believer in the second conduit run. AND/OR We can always do a project after this, open ended, so there is no need to wrap things up from a story telling perspective. Sure, we'd maybe create new characters. But come on, we make awesome characters. Would that ever even be a problem since even when this story ends, it won't be soon? :D

I think.... before we start addressing the beam rush.... we need to ask, what kind of beam rush?

Do we join Shepards? Maybe coming from the other side of the beam, since we're working out of our own sandbox to a large degree.

Or do we do one after Shepards?

And something else to consider. Who is sent away? Not everyone from Bastion can go. Pepper and Gizmo and Mia can't go. Sully is arguably better off sent away as his ability to support and keep people equipped and fighting is a more valuable skill than putting a rifle in his hands and sending him off to battle. I'll leave that up to FF to decide.

People in command will need to go mobile and pack up Bastion as it empties.

Is Bastion completely turned out? Does a guard stay behind to defend it? If it empties, does it head to the next nearest camp? Which I'd say would be Alpha, where the hospital is?

I think we need to come to some consensus as to how we're going about the beam rush at least.

I'd suggest doing a second run. With communication's back up to real time it is now easier to co-ordinate that action.

Wyld's got alot of meeting with people to do, but once tht's done, she's going to be rubbing elbows with the bigwigs and discovering what the plans are for rushing the beam.

And then, we get to decide how we want to use this army..... and what oppoistion we face. I've got some idea's that will make Shepards beam run look like a cake walk.

And hands up. Who want's to missle Dougal?

Started writing the infirmary scene. Quick dialogue with Naomi and Ben. Move onto Arkeer who comes in, then Rea and Rothan arrive to look in on him.

Ben requires Wyld so Wyld helps Ben help Arkeer. And Ben isn't the most socialable person in the world when he's on the job. That leaves Wyld to talk to the two.

PMing FF for how to deal with Naomi. If things are gathering towards a beam effort then it's time to fire and resolve alot of these Chekov's Wylds carrying around with her.

At this point, if she didn't fire them she could use them to shoot the Reapers.

Definitely NOT join Shepard's. Anderson is an idiot. We're going to need the Asari squad + Rea + Wyld + one of FF's characters + whoever else wants to come along for the ride.

We can get there ahead of Shepard and a lot easier. I plan to screw up the ending royally. It is going to be so stupid it'll make Mac Walter's ending look genius in comparison. It's just going to have a more positive outcome.

@RedBelle: Request: Leave Arkeer in a state of healing rest so Rea can come back and check on him. Also, PM'd you re: armor in a giant post. No wonder you don't answer me. I type too much! Also, you had a crate of Claymore's somewhere. Arkeer may eventually want one...if it is available.

Re: The beam rush, two things: One is I don't think we should do with Shep because scads of people die alongside shep. We don't want that, as many people die. Khambilo and I want to actually have the opportunity to be somewhere else, firing the missiles after shep hits the destroyer, helping blow it up. Two is that I think the beam run should be a moment of fortune. Sort of not even planned but more like, "It is still up! We're closest! - - Hackett yells Get up there now!" Or something like that.

Definitely want to talk bigwig plan, and what does what, but not ready yet. For sure plan it for the future.

Mia will give her info to Radcliffe, but she isn't going. With Gizmo, Sully, Sid and Pepper (plus like one guard or two) they should head off in a Mako, M-080 or somesuch, and will fade until the epilogue. We love em, lets keep them safe. I imagine Bastion will be abandoned. The Reapers are coming, and the base would be vulnerable to being overrun. Alternatively, they can hide in the basement of the up-armored pub. Or Alpha. But that will be the last we see, I think, of non-combat civies until the post story.

Edit:  FH sent me a PM re: Arkeer that said:  Well, he got pretty jacked up from my understanding, so he'll require an hour or two in bed, depending on the current timeline, but nothing like the VS survivor laying on their ass in Huerta. Plus he's a Krogan, so, yeah lol

Rea and Wyld and Rothan are out and Arkeer's in the capable hands of Doctor Ben.

Wyld and Rea have both said they need to go see sully.

If someone takes them there, can you leave Wyld with Sully to discuss new armour?

@FF and Kel.

I think, from discussion's, the sequence needs to go, Rea and Wyld go see Sully and have a chat.

then

Rea goes off and encounter's Zia.

Actually, due to convoluted-ness, it's Rea leaves, spots a jet bike, takes it immediately to Sully, puts in her 'order' for bike, armor and guns, then leaves for Zia part. Wanted to come back later for h to h and suit up with Wyld. Can we do that?
