So I'm now on writing for Zia and Wyld?
Just need to know if that last post with Rea and Zia is the jumping on point.
Also, will be tackling these in stage's of posts.
And thus far..... Wyld and Zia's imminent meeting is playing on Wyld's nerves since she has to tell Zia that she may have just broken up the Zia and Naomi relationship.
Which she think's may have damaged her's and Zia's relationship, since Wyld broke the rules of keeping the relationship secret.
And for all the distraction's she's had.... she now has to bite the bullet and let her know what's happened...... on top of everything else.

Okay, I don't know exactly what FF had planned, but it was something along the line of Zia wants to send a com to Wyld to basically say (paraphrased), "ell momma to inform Jan of her location with just a remark "It's now or never. Come quick." That's the essence of it. Not being Zia's author, just passing on the info.
You have some interesting stuff set up for Wyld. Rea is going to have to, you know, solve her other problems. Fending off Zia takes something, Wyld should know. Oh wait, she does....

It's a red Caddy with a white on white interior, which during a war isn't so white.

Update: For me at least. I ended up getting myself immersed, which is a good thing, but means I have more to write. And more stuff going on behind the scenes. I normally have a kind schedule, but it has been a bit bumpy lately. Have a meeting and the plan is to write and run my piece past SJ. Its the first part of something so hopefully that gets done soon. I'll probably also post something more for fun times. But then I've got to knuckle down and get to the heart of the next thing. Anyway, its on deck. Just for the others out there writing...I'm still all in.

In case folks are wondering. I'm totally writing stuff right now. Works been busy so I haven't had alot of time to throw at it, but it's coming together.
I can post it in snip bit's if that will help tide people over.
Nonetheless, Wyld and Zia are destined for a rather emotionally charged and violent encounter. Before we get to talking about feelings and stuff.
Also working on the love nest settings.
So much to dooooooo!!

heheh.
I do love me some Babylon.
Though I think we can attach something extra to the name, considering Babylon's bee armour.
Bastion Broadcating Enterprise perhaps?
Shall we just keep changing the name for every broadcast?

@Julia
If Artemis is bored, why wouldn't Radcliffe give them a recon assignment to scout the conduit beam for attack strategy development.
Just a thought

Give Artemis a chance to go out and meet the more sneaky stealth recon teams who skulk about perhaps? The infiltrator's who spy.
Wyld's already been out for a drive and tangled with a harvester, run away from a Reaper Army, played nursemaid to Babylon, played a game of chicken with a Banshee, and generally gotten up to alot of stuff out on the field.
Bastion was meant to be a stopping off point. A common place where people could meet, or begin anew. It's worth saying because we don't want to get to bogged down in that camp.
That said, there's alot to be done in that camp story wise, but perhaps we should shift focus more to the beam, and get the camp stuff done as and when we can.

Wait a sec, I JUST GOT HERE!
Now you want to leave?
Whatever we mutually agree to is fine. You know, the point really is just that every piece is entertaining. I do have a desire to get to the conduit thing...and also take the one chance that reasonably makes sense to develop Rea's character which really should go down at the camp and not on a battlefield per se.
So what I am really saying is I have no idea if we should stay or go.
I just know I want to resolve things with characters in the camp as outlined in my 'wish' list in the group and if I can do that I will be happy. If I can't I will make amends. To me, leaving Bastion behind lies somewhere after Rea has a big epiphanyTM and before we all start wondering exactly if we are ever going to leave. Magical time constraint says everything in our story is in the span of one night...
That is, until we make a second conduit run and really screw the whole thing up! Oh, and then there's epilogue stuff...
...Um, okay, at some point this story has to end. And if we all can get together and want to keep writing, we can do an open ended setting.

Much as the focus is to go.......I agree that staying is just to much fun right now. There's alway's prelim work to do in the mean time.
Someone has to show those Tee-Eff and Misfit's how to fight a war....
Though they may surprise as to how they go about doing it.
Something for the future. Been busy gettin gthe Wyld and Zia bit written up.

Can't wait for moar literature!
I think there's an atmophere to keep present that will help while we are in camp. Things should seem as if they are moving forward and not stagnating, and the threat of the Reaper war should be driving that action. The threat of what will come is the paramount concern of all involved, even though we have our other endeavors to achieve. With that always present, I think it will be all right until the action actually becomes going to the conduit.

Shepard moved her right leg a half a meter, and a bullet moved 20 meters toward a banshee. Garrus was in cover behind burned out car. Liara was next to him and was up firing her Tempest to cover Shepard. Two rounds had left her SMG while on full automatic fire.

I see.
Liara and Vega had a plan to beat Shepard unconcious in an earlier episode. She's just sidling up next to him to provide a distraction.
Then Vega air drop's in and brains him with the crowbar!
What could possibly go wrong

This is where taking something out of context can get someone in big trouble....
What I was posting about was a sarcastic comment in the group. And basically I was making fun of someone who basically was going on about someone else's bruises. And don't you run away from that whole thing. I didn't make you do nothin. Though you did make me post to have to clarify that I was not the one saying that, before someone thinks I'm totally crazy!
Going to read your post now. And also, SJ, sending a part of a draft your way soon.

Coming on to further works to do for the Bastion crew.
Steiner's having a little quiet time.
Babylon and Steiner seem to have a connection of sort's.
The Misfit's and Tee-Eff need more fleshing out.
Wyld needs to get into command and start seeing what the plans are. Then start looking for ways to cheat the system.
I was absolutely, positively going to kill Babylon, or Steiner. Which didn't work out. So I've marked one of the list of character's for death. Because, if we don't kill a red shirt every now and then, no one will think we're serious.....

I had the Sarge "marked for death", and didn't have the heart, so took her out of action with the broken leg... then dialogue-wise she's turned into my Lannister. I can't kill off my conniving b****. She's too much fun. Besides, the ones with flexible codes of honor never die.
I may need to bring in a "red shirt" to show the effectiveness of this episode's monster.
