We need a redshirt.... I nominate the character model of Gordan Freeman and his gravity gun. Shooting Reapers with Reapers.

Since Radcliffe keep's popping up , I thought I'd mention
If anyone has ever seen platoon and listened to the extra's, where the actor's talk about the military officer who trained them, then went on to appear on screen, Radcliffe's basically that guy.
It's funny, how he trained the actor's to be soldier's, then instead of returning them to a hotel to prepare for their scene's, he marched them to straight to the 1st day shooting location and got them straight to it.
Then when he asked them how he was supposed to do his scene's, they told him, just be yourself. He already acted like a captain.
He's the guy who cool, calm, tell the guy's if there was a illegal weapons discharge there would be a courtmarshal. Then got blown up from a guy running into his post with a bomb.

Haven't been reading for two days...been busy...but I just red all that I missed and first thought thqt came flying through my head
REDBELLE I LOVE YOU!
Don't be shocked, I'm just delighted how you did the Wyld-Zia thingy. Glad to see Jan thinking of herself for a change, and not worrying about other people's feeligs.
Steiner is not such a jerk after all. Nasyra showed her 'mom' who's pulling the strings in their arrangement. And Rea is still insecure but getting there slowly.
Every post is interesting. I wish we could stop the time..

I'm wondering if I should do one more post for Wyld and Zia, just to set up their boundaries with each other.
Zia being the more experienced is really limited by Wyld. And Wyld has had a journey that colours her persepective a bit on the issue. Plus there's all the things they need to tell each other to get them both on the same page for the future.

I agree. And when/if Jan tells Zia about her arrangements with Aria, Zia could suspect SoF presence...which brings me to the question - where could Naomi be all this time?
Anyway Zia needs to tell, wants o tell Jan more about her past.

Steiner is not such a jerk after all. .
He's a complete jerk to those who don't know him. But only because he's not interested in other's outside of his platoon. The war's seen him lose more people than he cares to lose and his field of interest in people has narrowed as a result.
Babylon seems to have broken through to a degree, but then, she was sort of part of his platoon for a time. Now she's sort of not, but might still be.
Steiner's waiting on that one, to see on which side of the divide she falls.

You know, I was going to mention that the bikes could be a source of Rea/Rothan bonding time, and then Rothan got to work on them.
And Rea's off with the Artemis crew.
I guess when she and Wylds free they'll have to head off to Arkeer and..... Well that would be telling.

Yes, the bikes. Must...the bikes...yes....

Contemplating stirring up some trouble with the conniving faction.... why do I love writing conniving sociopathic characters? Not outright evil characters, they're just as boring as good, honorable characters, but these gray ones who do despicable things but have some redeeming qualities.

Go for it. By the way, most of my heroes, even the good, honorable ones, have problems. Dudley Dooright was done once and that was enough

Wonder if Rothan will ever meet Momma. She'd be much more easy to work with than a VI.

It is far too quiet in here. And in the BoL thread. I want to hear about all the stories!
What happens after you pronounce your undying affections atop a building in London?
If you have an unstable explosive, and you dump it, what does it do?
Best present ever is being worked on in the armory?
Three angry sisters must have been up to something lately. Exactly what?
Jon is on his way to the camp in a Mako. Where in Disneyland does he want to go?
A merc and his dog, out there, somewhere, living on the edge. Will they make it?
Khaled, Cerberus agent turned against the Reapers, will we discover his mystery?
And there's a lone krogan of the west named Arkeer. Will his legend ride again?
Just because, you should know, I want to know!

I'm writting up a, get out of the tower quick, block to put Wyld and Zia back in play on the ground so they can begin dealing with their respective narratives.

New post.
And there's snuggles.
And admissions.
About an Asari and a Quarian.
And Jan pop's a question.
And Zia finds it hilarious......
And Wyld and Zia are now free to pursue their individual goals again.
Oh, and Jan finally has a better understanding of the sisters. Zia has heard of Aria's involvement when Wyld was talking to Baldurjack......
and we're in a good place to springboard off.
@FF I left the details of what Zia actually said purposefully vague. She can have told Wyld her life story, but skimped a few details that didn't seem important. Or given her a detailed biography. Either way, it gives room to continue developing the narrative while dropping the idea that Zia had a break up with her sisters.
One other thing I wasn't able to work in is a bit of dialogue from Wyld regarding the sister's that went along the lines of, "Maybe they just miss you".
Because while the sister's began life as a 'something' for Zia, it was never defined what that something would be..... But seriously, with a name like Disdain and Loopy Lou..... how well would any class reunion go?

Well I hope you see now in what direction I'm heading
@Red
I actually expected as much on the Zia life story. It's actually how I ment for you to describe it. We all know it, and there was really no point in making it a long dialogue. It's great. But as you can see, our Zee will now start showing her "Violet" side. I hope poor doctor Ben makes it alive ;-)

Btw, is Jan leaving again? Because Zia will have some questions for her now. And I think this development changes things for them both. If Jan cares for Naomi as it seems, she would be very worried when Zia tells her what she believes happened.
I might even have to borrow Wyld for one post...
