Glad to see we still have people wanting o jojin the RPG :D

To bad Rogo bailed, I liked his demolisher and his dog...

If he's not coming back..... Can we at least keep the dog?

He could be like Independence Day dog! Jumping through the door! A split second before the fireball sweeps past for added tension!

It has dawned on this one that the Destiny Ascension was mentioned in ME1 by Joker as having a main gun with the firepower of "greater than the entire Asari Fleet combined!" The Asari have 20 dreadnoughts. The codex states that it takes four dreadnoughts to take out a reaper capital ship. This implies that the Destiny Ascension could take out a Sovereign Class reaper with a single shot. Yet we do not ever see the Destiny Ascension fire in a cut scene. This is due to video game logic so that Commander Shepard could bring in the Normandy and save the day in Mass Effect 1.

This one thinks that the Destiny Ascension is the reason the reapers were getting a left tentacle smacked repeatedly on their hind quarters when engaging the Asari fleet over Asari worlds. This one thinks this is why the reapers changed their tactics against the Asari and landed.

This one also thinks the reapers in reality are getting their hind quarters handed to them over Earth since the Destiny Ascension can lock onto a target with its VI and fire every five seconds. This means that if the Destiny Ascension fires every 5 seconds for one hour, and hit 80% of the time making sure that Earth wasn't behind the target, this one calculates that 576 reaper ships would die. At a generous miss rate of 50%, 360 reaper ships would die, and this is at the hands of the Destiny Ascension alone. Perhaps this is the real reason that the Sovereign Class reapers left the space battle and headed toward Earth?

This one calculates that over the course of 56 hours, if it were to be sufficiently protected Destiny Ascension could have eliminated the Reaper threat from the galaxy at the generous 50% miss rate. However, 20,000 places somewhere would have a very bad day perhaps in several hundred thousand years.

This one believes key to victory would have been to build a fleet of these ships over the past three years.

I believe the codex says it takes at least 4 dreadnoughts to even begin having an impact on a Reapers shields.

Still, with the upgrades that come by the time of the Alliance attack on the Reapers over Earth, I think it could be assumed that the Destiny Ascension would be inflicting some casualties. A ship like that would get a lot of attention from the Reapers though. Assuming the DA survives (and I do like to think that), I think a lot of other vessels will have sacrificed themselves to screen the DA. It would be costly, but saving that kind of firepower makes sense

You are correct. The Destiny Ascension is not a dreadnought. It is a super dreadnought. Its main gun has more firepower than the rest of the Asari Fleet combined. This one looked it up. The rest of the Asari fleet has 20 dreadnoughts. Four reapers take down the shields. This one calculates that the Destiny Ascension's firepower would blow right through the reaper shields and through the reaper, and through the shields of the reaper behind it and through that reaper. This one calculates that the Destiny Ascension shoots through asteroids. Note that it alone is worth 100 war assets. This one thinks that Bioware underestimated it.

You are a crazy asari fan.

I like! :D

Even at 100 War assets, think about it...that's like a huge number.

It is probably the single most powerful ship flying, really. The turians have the most powerful navy of the Council species due to numbers, of that there is no doubt. However, when it comes to singular ships, its really the DA.

RB and I have ludicrous amounts of literature to post and we're still editing some and have to wrap the last bit.  But the first part is up to entertain.

This one has thrown a monkey wrench into the plans. Marisa Soniri and Sgt Clark are walking to the armory. Marisa will be getting fitted for armor, picking up a side arm, and a Kassa Locust from Sully. This one hopes Rea doesn't excrete masonry when she sees her.

And the legend of Rea and Wyld has begun....

Or maybe it would be more accurate to call it a foot note.

Or that bit where these two met.

Or maybe a friends title. 'The one with the lotion'.

I've started reading back over what's been put out there too. Wow, is all I'll say.

I'm posting the second part of the Wyld/Rea stuff. In & out today, RedBelle, but I will keep an eye out for your revisions to part III

The two will likely not be in the armory when Marisa gets there. Plus they are only in one section of the rather large building. In fact, there's quite a number of people in there who won't necessarily see each other (armory building design was done by Plot Device, Inc.)

I'm still looking over Part 3.

I think with the changes in part 2 I need to radically alter the angle I take with Wyld. I primed a gun for her and she didn't fire it. Instead, she goes off on a tangent.

Will let you know how it goes.

Steiner and Babylon and getting along as well as can be expected. And the Tee-Eff and Misfit army is gettng some fleshing out as to what to expect from them.

Liking all the new instalments :D

Looks like Wyld is exploring her newly discovered sensuality and I see plums are the new strawberries. I guess it goes with asari tan :)

Also, I thought no ship can really hurt a sovereign class reaper. Not even DA unless it gets lucky and hits his oculy just before it's about to fire. Looks like I was wrong.

Hmmm. Stawberry. Peaches and Plums.....

All she needs is to find apples, pear's and banana's and we'll have fruit salad to throw at the Reapers. The Fruit Bowl Brigade! We could have a mako painted in all the colours!

And yes... Zia has put Wyld in touch with her more sensual side. A side she's never had as her teenage years were filled with physical therapy and support groups. She's got this new side to herself that has the impulse control of a child and the cunning of an adult. With none of the understanding as to how it fit's in with her life.

It kind of feeds into what Steiner was saying about the Tee-Eff. Wylds got a new gun i her aresenal, but she's never fired it in combat condition's, so she might panic and do something really inapproriate in the future. Unless someone stops her and talks to her about it first.......

But more about that later. I'm working on Kel and I's collaberation and bringing Percy back into the mix for the Tee-Eff/Misfit scene.

@RedBelle: no problem. I think the flow in pt 3 is great so put whatever you need in there. Plus we haven't written pt 4. Go ahead and make sure you get whatever parts of the story in there w/Rea that you want as this is the perfect time. What has made it to print do far has been pretty satisfying.

Well the YMIR waving didn't really get across that something was odd about it. Or it moving to support the Alliance troops containing all the new people into Bastion.

So it's now either Momma's enforcer or the pizza delivery mech.

But more on Mech's later.

A WIP work of the new armour Wyld had made. It's kinda going off what ME uses, but keeps to certain design styles.....

Plus it's got a lot of features that people asked for when I put up what you all wanted to see in it.

Alas. This one's so early I didn't have time to put the axe in. You'll have to imagine it's invisible.
