I think it would be better if you just edit that out.  Rothan getting shot in the heart is game ending and I'd rather not  twist the lore around to save him.  A retcon is my vote.

For future reference, just shoot me a PM when you want to use Rothan.  In fact if we want to use anybody's character for a substantial scene we should PM each other.

Maybe we can downplay the wound a lot. Enough so that it is clearly not life threatening, but enough to put him everyone on edge. Nora could still be alerted, but because crucial repairs are needed for the suit instead.

I've put forward some ideas that come down to these ways we can get through this.

1. Retcon.

2. Arkeer never stopped to check the wound, so Arkeer only thinks Rothan got shot through the heart. The bullet could have hit him in the heart area, But have been stopped from piercing his suit by Barriers. Biotics, extra armour layers woven into the suit to protect vital spots.

Rothan is stunned and needs to check suit integrity but is otherwise fine.

3. We keep going as we are, with the writer's rallying around giving Rothan what he needs to pull himself out of this.

SJ and Artemis have healed him up.

RB and Nora are there for a compatible blood match, Quarian know how, and emotional counciling if needed.

And FF's Ben can work Rothan over and have him out the door by pouring smelling salts down his induction port.

Don't worry.... This is just like those teen movie's where everyone realises the guy's gonna be late for the date and rallies the street to get him there.

Momma's outside with the engine reving to get him to the church on time!

Sounds like a plan.

But then we'd lose the power of the cheese.... Which means the cheese wil still be in the fridge and could be used for other purposes!

Well I'm just not sure how a quarian could feasibly recover from something like that right before going out again, since I've already stated that Rothan is headed out with Rea to be a diversion for missile squads.

Like I said, I would really like a retcon since I didn't have a chance to control my character's fate through this.

Little bit ninja'ed there... so yeah if we can bring Nora in to patch up the suit I would be okay with that, that way we don't have to delete entire posts, just edit them.

 Or if everyone is not in favor of this story tangent we could just delete it (honestly the best option for me) if everone is okay with that.

Can we take a vote? I mean, obviously you guys know where I stand.

I'm in favour of deleting. But there is another option I haven't mentioned.....

Arkeer's dreaming.

This way, Rothan is fine. FH's post stays, and SJ and I delete ours.

I really want to see Rea and Rothan together, even if we have to cut out his brain and stick him in a Geth to do so.

Okay, Before I pull mine down I'd like to hear if SJ's okay with this path. If that's good then we can pull out the posts, maybe replace them with a scene of Arkeer waking up in the hospital bed, fully healed and raring to go. We need to get Arkeer out of bed and ready for WAAAAAR!!!

Seriously. Steiner cold use some help beating some discipline into the Tee-Eff and Misfit's.

IMHO, I think Khambilo should decide what happens to that post. No need for a vote, although I would object if it means Rothan is dead.
