Okay, what I've done is keep the character of Nora, so she's up for grabs, but removed any mention that she knows Rothan, used to be part of the Ketsa, or that she's needed for a blood transfusion.

The post now reads that she's one of the Misfit's and is going through rifle practice. I don't think I'll come back to her again. If she's never picked up thats fine. But just a heads up to Kham... the character is available.

Personally, I found the bit's with Arkeer and Rothan kinda sweet from a battle buddy perspective.

Rea has been talking to Wyld. Rothan has Arkeer.

However, the level of work that is now going into this thread has risen above and beyond the level that was originally intended. I think we're over 300 posts in the main thread now? That's a lot of work and effort. And killing one without warning threw the whole group out of step.

We're still generating a good story. And we have lost people, and more will follow. But the writer's have plans and projection's. And Rothans death put three writer's out of step with the narrative that was being created.

Let's just take this as a learning experience and move on. Bastion's time is coming to an end. And we have to leave the cradle and get back out into war torn London in order to get to the beam

I think this will mean travelling through London's street's in the manner each writer thinks best. Some I think will be movnig in small groups, other's will be moving in convoy etc.

I think I'll have to bury another Tee-Eff narrative at this rate. I'll think about it. Had the nephew over today so haven't been able to write up much.

I'm not sure exactly what's going on, but let me just say my part here...

@FavoriteH: I sent you a PM in an attempt to work things out. Didn't see a reply, so, if there is no need at this point, no problem. Or, go ahead and send me a reply if there is anything.

The general consensus seems to be deletion, though I still see FavoriteH's post up...so....I'm going to move on assuming you just haven't gotten around to that FH. There are a lot of good reasons to go ahead and delete. Beyond the ones already mentioned, relocating the major characters is problematic, and for one I am appreciative having done a number of hours of work behind the scenes (I did say I was coordinating behind the scenes) with Khambilo, RedBelle and other on parts yet to come.

This is a good story. It is good. It is worth reading.

To me it is good because we are working together. And there is a relationship of trust built into that. There is no rule that says as much, but for me, I run stuff by someone if it involves their major character before I do it, and offer editing in the event I post something and they disagree. Wasn't set out that way in the beginning but so far it seems to work fine. ALL major characters, so far, I have been a fan of and that has not changed.

I'm posting my next part, sans death, sans cheese, sans blood transfusion. I don't know where Arkeer is, but last Rea checked, he was in the infirmary. Rothan is at the armory working on stuff to be revealed, and also talking to his mother on the Ketsa. Rea knows nothing of Zaeed or of Gabriel, but KelRiever enjoys the occasional humorous interlude.

Onward, and certainly upward.

I have to admit I did pich Rothan once. It was to deal with the gun of his former squads leader.

I had to yank Rothan out of his scene. Fortunately he was in a non moving scene transition at the time. Deal with the issue in a way that allowed Rothan to return to the world where the issuue could be escaleted or not. Then put him back where I found him. With new knowledge and the gun. PM'd him about that, and had been saying for ages how I wanted to deal with that chekov gun.

Ooooh. The other thing I did was the torture and death of Naomi. And then brought her back as a clone and a super biotic. Interestingly, Wyld estbalished that the current Naomi doesn't remember saving her from husks because at the time, the two Nay's were two seperate people.

Anyhow. I wanna see what Kel and Kham have been cooking up. Kel brough tme into the pieces with Wyld, but he's been keeping me in the dark with Rothan's parts......

Takes a running jump and lands in his arms causing them to fall with Wyld on top. She patted his chest. "Sorry. Maybe after basic training".

Hugh nodded. Vigerously.

The corner of Wyld's mouth curved. "That woman in your mind? That's my girlfriend. She's a Biotic and Fury who snapped a Banchee's neck with her bare hands and yes. We have". She said as she shrugged. "She was also raised by Asari who taught her the lustful and sensual art of......".

Rea interrupted. "Jan.... Stop torturing the poor boy". And please shut up before you get to the part about me. She
thought in barely restrained panic.

Jan saw the earnest look in the youth and decided to let him down gently.

"I'm sorry", she said, breaking down into tears. "It's just. You look so much like my husband before he was indoctrinated". She stopped sobbing and looked up, still feigning her sorrow. "And I had to kill him too"!

Or.....

Wyld nudged Rea. "I think he's talking to you".


By this time Kel had told me that Rea and Rothan would be gone from the scene....... so...

Wyld nudged Sully. "I think he's talking to you".

Or....

"How do you take coffee"?

"Black"! Answered Hugh.

Wyld moaned. "Hmmm. Like my men".

or

Wyld gave Hugh an apoligetic look. "Sorry. When it comes to romance, I try not to go below privates".

Wyld rubbed her chin thoughtfully. "Meet me in the infirmary in ten minutes and I'll suck a pint out you".

Hugh's face lit up as quickly as it darkened at Wyd's next words.

"The blood bank need's every donation it can get......What"? She asked as the Misfit's regarded her with stony expressions.

or

Wyld popped the front of her helmet which slid up. She walked up to Hugh and stopped, looking him square in the eye's.

"Say.... I love you".

"I.....I....". Hugh stammered before clearing his throat. "I love you".

Wyld looked at Hugh as if she were puzzling something out. "Yeeeeeep...... Definitely gay". And she turned and walked away.

Mia looked up at Hugh as if seeing him for the first time. "Hugh..... I never knew"!


The moral of the story is...... be careful what you ask for, especaially when you ask Redbelle.

Wyld's back under single ownership again and can now get up to more of her own thing. PM me if you need her. She's going to be talking to Sully about loadout's.... and that little issue with her Omni Axe possibly having a tracker in it.

Then it's off to the command post. She needs to hear what the plans of attack are. And the CP has had enough time to figure something out by now I feel.

Well for what it's worth, I never regretted asking Redbelle anything so far. I would say quite the contrary.

I know at least two of you like the SoF thing, and they wouldn't exist if it wasn't for certain someone, and I enjoyed working with Kel and Redbelle behind the scenes. I'm grateful for your help, and all the fun and good humor I had exchanging ideas and thoughts.
I absolutely love all the main characters, and also side-characters we've created.
I would like to see them all make it, or at least if someone decides to kill his or hers character, it should be by the authors own hand or at least his consent.

I won't say who I based Steiner on..... Mainly because he's anotehr video game character from a long time ago.....

Okay I'll spill. It was a guy from Full Throttle, the Lucas Art's game. One of the guy's in the beginning in the limo.

Honestly... beyond that character I've no idea what Steiner looks like, beyond the description he's all beef, with a flat face and a perpetual sneer. He's got a soft side. He'd just rather beat the troop's into shape N7 style

Guilty secret. Sully's being Q from the book Dr No. Bond used to use a Beretta 418, which an fan wrote to Fleming and complained that he felt the Beretta was a ladies gun with no real stopping power.

The letter's went back and forth and the Walther PPK sprung up as a good gun. As well as a Colt .45 with the trigger guard removed.

Apparetnly the Beretta was out due to it catching on Bonds trouser's in Russia with love that almost killed 007.

So, Wyld's old Avenger is out on account that it's outdated and suffered a critical fail. The only problem is that like Bond, Wyld's used to it, and doesn't want to let it go.

So Sully plays her....
