This weekend, I had nephews, band performance and parent's...... And a 5 hour session of D&D4e where my female half elf, seeing an old man grow wings out of his back as his flesh rips open to allow them to emerge, is one of the least strangest thing she's seen in the five days she was with the party.

Good one Kel. Put one of those small cigars in Clark's mouth.
PS: why do a lot of my characters smoke?

It is called projection
Clark may get another part. Yes, he'll chomp a cigar. When circumstances give him the chance....

All those cigarettes Babylon smoked in her life come back to bite her I see
I also see she grabbed a rocket launcher from somewhere. Sounds fine to me, she was a dab hand when it came to shooting one at Harvey.

My last piece was edited to add cigars, rifles and shotguns. Just so you know RB, I thought Babylon had always held onto her rocket launcher.

I'm totally onboard with Babylon's rocket launcher
I just think if she get's it out, she has to shoot it!
The one she used on Harvey was a dispoable one shot launcher. But I see no reason why she can' have another.
It might come in handy...... you never know!
Steiner Looks at Babylon's rocket launcher on her back. Look's to his puny shoulder mounted launcher.
"I'll swap".

Of course, that puny rocket launcher fires automatically. I hope he remember to turn it off when he doesn't need it.

Steiner roared. "Pike! Front and Centre"!
Pike ran up. "Reporting sir"!
Steiner nodded. "I have an important message for you to run to.....". He was interrupted by the shoulder mount, which beeped, signalling a lockon. "Abort! Abort"! He cried.
Pike exploded. As his remains rained down from the sky Steiner sighed and switched off his launcher and yelled. "Porkins! Front and Centre"!

When Wyld finds out that Lucy has switched out the weapon blocks of the mounts for bags of diamonds, because shopping belongs in the boot, we're all set for the most expensive small arms engagement in the history of Mass Effect.

I'm too burned out to write today and quite frankily, am unhappy with the way things are going at work. So while I take it out on someone, there will be a pause until tomorrow.

Kel needs a hug.
Meanwhile Julia's bad writing continues. Naleena in the ducts talking to Marisa, casually blows away a Salarian and keeps on talking like nothing happened. Yeah, guys, this is the real Naleena. The sarge was an act.
So who do you like better? The Sarge or Naleena?

The sarge. Wyld can give her rides around in the Valkyr.
Though Naleena might give her a chance to air out her slowly developing callous side. Wyld tricking/sending a high as sky Naomi off to fight an army while she get's the prisoner's to safety, while a valid plan, has probably been one where she had no idea if they would get Naomi back.
And with Naomi and Wyld being in love with the same person, And Zia saying she's ditching Naomi for Wyld, and Naomi's power spike where Wyld knows she can't fight her off if it comes down to it............
More on the Zia/Wyld/Naomi tangle to come. With special guest star.... Loopy Lou!

Psst....hey.... Kel Riever
Rob's author is very happy. And he did read it.
He is also speaking of himself in the third person.
He is not sure why.

Yeah, I can see that. The sarge and Wyld in the Valkyr. Naleena casually blowing away a Salarian and not even missing a beat in the conversation. I can sort of see Wyld and Naleena teaming up in a buddy action film. See the thing is that Naleena still wants to win the war. She's just got STG to deal with now, and Reapers, and an incompetent partner. It's a lot of stress.
And it's my job as a writer to flick little piles of s*** in her way.

Khambilo, if you are reading this, I hope you aren't ticked off about anything or jumped ship.
I like the spin on Lucy! As far as a bunch of krogan go, krogan will do what krogan do. There was supposed to be more writing today, about different stuff. It fell by the wayside with time. Curse you time. I need bandits to steal more of you. Maybe a bunch of short, little, time...nevermind.

Is there not enough time for me to add a new character? I was thinking, well, I might add someone to shake things up a bit while Kel continues with Arkeer.

I've got about six more installments in Naleena's story, but that doesn't mean it's the end. There's still the rest of the group.

Not sure where the Lucy arc is going. She's obviously a girl on the hard line who feels she's lost everything now Zia's killed Disdain.
The group of Zia, Wyld and Naomi feels like it's fracturing and suddenly this lost little puppy wanders onto them...... If puppies could guard hostages, administer sand, shoot rifles and ransack department stores while coming off a sand rush.
Zia sounds like she's already at her wits end what to do with her. Zia seems to think Lucy's path is set and doesn't want to be around to see what happens at the end of her story. Wyld's throwing Naomi around like a weapon much like Aria did to Lucy.......
And Wyld has yet to stand to take account for her actions before Zia. She's been making things happen on a wing and a prayer again and maybe..... Zia thinks she's pushing her luck.
For all Lucy's problems she certainly see's things more clearly than most. She knows what the sand has made her, she knows that Zia has been running from issues and that they are now plaguing her.
Wyld going to have her work cut out to pull them back in line.... If Zia will let her.

@FH: Hey, you made it all happen, so I say add a character if you want!
Khambilo getting in touch would possibly change what I have planned for how long I was going to write. There are plenty of installments to go from the point of wrapping character and action, but not a lot, I guess for me, from the standpoint of getting to the Conduit (or not) for Rea. I figured the point of the Rea/Rothan arc is to get to the firing of the Thanax missiles and then it can be a wrap, or it can be continued. Again, that has to do with Kham, and also depends on what you all want to do.
I'm writing to get through the bridge battle, the Reaper Maw, and all those who have created great characters that we'd like to find out about. I imagine the firing of the missiles coincides with what occurs soon after the bridge is crossed. If anyone wants to change direction from that, or write considerably beyond that, I am open to ideas.

Naleena came out of her "shell" of aliases and is finally her true self, and if she comes out of this mess alive is going to be a miracle. Marisa is tagging along as the hapless sidekick from hell.
I've lost Erikka, Bellarmine, a Krogan, and three "redshirts", one of whom was a Turian Spectre.
Ranassa, "T", Ereba, Shayrana, and Jack and the remnants of her biotic squad are in the Flight Control Room on the Citadel guarding it so the Reapers don't take it back and close the Citadel and prevent the Crucible from docking. Firing the Crucible is up to Shepard because we don't know crap about that.
What's interesting is that Naleena has no idea that Jack Harper (The Illusive Man) is on the Citadel. She got that contract to kill Harper back in 2170 from Jonah Ashland because Cerberus kept blowing up his freighters, and she had to return the 4 million credit retainer. (ouch) Total contract would have set her up. 8 million credits. She would want him badly... if she only knew. Poor girl.
