Check the link in my last post. You can change the colors with Chrome and there's an extension for Firefox as well. That post links to the the thread in Off Topic where they're discussing how to use it. I have my background dark gray with white lettering.

Only this time there's nothing in the chamber.

And Khalisah Bint Sinan Al Jilani reported the entire incident in the Council Bunker. You just knew the s*** was going to hit the fan, didn't you? Can Hackett keep the Alliance together? I think he can. We fight or we die.
Stay tuned for the next episode when Naleena returns to the main part of the bunker.

Howdy TEA.......
The BoL thread is open to anyone as far as I know. All we ask is that the narrative follows along the line that has been drawn.....which is frankly a little blurry, but it is there..... I think.....
In the overarching scheme of things the Alliance has pulled together a ragtag group of soldier ranging from professional elities like Steiner Rifles, to the civilian trained militia know as The Misfits.
They all departed Camp Bastion after building up their forces. After they left the camp was attacked and largely destroyed. But the Reapers going after the army Badstion fielded has been cut down in size.
Much of the army has crossed the Thames until Tower Bridge was destroyed, leaving the rest to be ferryied across in Mako's.
There's fighting on the shore lines as Bastion's army fights to punch through what is left of the Reaper line.
The goal is to reach the beam to get to the Citadel.
We've got individual plot lines from the writers that keep snaking into one another but in general the idea is to have an idea and build it up through events.
We've got an Asari commando thwarting a Salarian coup.
A pair of star crossed lovers who are riding hard on a jet cycle.
And a Medic with a Mouth who has been thrown in at the deep end because she get's results by firing off insane plans.

Thanks! Here’s my experience: http://guildwiki.gam...r:El_Nazgir/RPG.
I had trouble choosing, so I made two.
Thanks for general storyline, stops me from having to ask for it.
CHARCTER APPLICATION HERE
Name: Arnout van Mameren
Race: Human
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Hetero
Anything Special?: Arnout has “acquired” a set of N7 destroyer equipment somewhere. Rumour has it that it stems from his time with the Blood Pack. It’s not entirely sure either how Arnout and Umbral got to earth, but now they’re there, they mean business.
Family: Define family. Blood relatives, yes, but no real family family.
Likes: Drinking, bar fights, Urdnot Umbral, Asari babes, old 2D movies.
Dislikes: Reapers, sentimentality.
Personality: Arnout seems, and is, a pretty reasonable dude, until you rub him the wrong way.
History: Arnout was born on very tiny colony, somewhere in the Terminus. This meant he had to learn to do pretty much everything himself, from a very young age. He left when he was seventeen, and has never returned home. He pretty much spends all his time as a “private military contractor”. He met Umbral during his time as a contractor working alongside the Blood Pack, and stuck with him, as they made a great team (well, the only team that survived and sticking together was kind of necessary for survival).
Name: Urdnot Umbral
Race: Krogan
Age: 873
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Hetero
Anything Special: Umbral is a real Krogan Battlemaster, a master of biotics, and a master of the battlefield. His hammer seems to be a souvenir from his time with the Blood Pack, but nobody realy knows for sure. It’s not entirely sure either how Arnout and Umbral got to earth, but now they’re there, they mean business.
Family: Long dead.
Likes: Drinking, bar fights, Arnout van Mameren, Asari babes, shooting payjaks.
Dislikes: Reapers, idiots.
Personality: Umbral seems like most Krogans; Gruff, rude, not very compassionate. Experience, however has taught him that it’s these personality traits that are keeping Krogans from integrating into galactic society. Note that this doesn’t mean he is a friendly Krogan, but if you get to know him, he is, well, kinda nice.
History: Umbral was a merc long, long before the Blood Pack was founded, but he became one of their Sergeants-at-arms. This earned him the scorn of the Urdnot clan, but he keeps in touch with Urdnot Wrex, as their man inside.
RP Sample: Umbral nodded, lifted his hammer, and bludgeoned the door out of its frame. The three Vorcha hiding in the bathroom looked up in surprise. Arnout’s shoulder mounted Hawk Missile Launcher beeped a target lock conformation, and Arnout fired. The room filled with exhaust fumes, as three missiles streaked past the Krogan, as Umbral dove for cover. The bang was incredibly loud, and redecorated even a part of the room where Arnout was standing in red and black. Arnout’s voice came over his speakers. “OK, now it’s time to leave. The fuzz will be here in no time.”
Umbral got up. “That the last of the deserters?”
“Yeah, Aria will be pleased. And maybe your ex-bosses too.”
“Krogan don’t consider Vorcha real Blood Pack members. They don’t give a quad about the Vorcha. And neither should you.”
“It’s a matter of principle. Can we leave now?”
“Yeah, I’ll call the Salarian for the shuttle. And then Earth?”
Arnout only nodded.

Hey,
I was reading the last page of the RPG, and someone said something about a Warlords hammer. My Krogan carries a hammer. We could link-up, or we could not.
Ideas?

You may not want to be that Warlord with a hammer. That's an NPC and things might not go so well for him.
But if he dies, he dies like a KROGAN! *insert For Tuchanka!*

Hi Emperor's Angel. Welcome. You may have gone through the old profiles and saw that I spec'ed out Ereba and Shayrana as my primary characters. Well they're not, it turned out. My primary turned out to be this one.

Hey,
Yeah, I saw this profile. I have also read the first 2 pages and the last page of the RPG, and the first 1,5 page here, and this last page, ofcourse.
Any suggestions about how I can write myself in here somewhere? I do a nice shoot-out, and some good witty dialogue, but I'm not very good with writing serious dialogue, so I'd like to stay Earth-side, and kill some reapers. Unless you need serious firepower on the Citadel, I'd like to introduce myself by shooting down the two Occuli, or something.
Can I swear, or will I get banned for that? I see everyone using ****ing for swear words.
After going over some other stuff people have written, I realise my characters might be too finished, polished, and powerfull. I mean (just an example), a 270 year old Krogan without biotics versus a nigh-on-900-year-old Battlemaster, jumping all over the place, swinging a hammer?
I was going with what looked cool to me, not with what might be best for the RPG. If you'll excuse me, 24 absolutly massive pages of RPG is a litle much for an afternoon. I could tune 'em down a little.

When it comes to the swearing I think the forum does the **** thing on it's own.
The Two Oculi are currently being downed. Though there's no reason not to write in more on the way that a character of yours could intercept.
Keep in mind we have a battle co-ordinator in the form of the AI Momma. She's great at just being ecerywhere and giving people information. What they then choose to do with it is more down to the character.
When it comes to interacting with other characters, we tend to get together behind the scenes. Wylds fight to get to Rea is happening with Kel and I discussing in the background.
Basically...... If you see a scene being prepared that you feel you want in on, why not create your own scene on the sidelines that adds to what is going on?

Actually the new forum doesn't censor swear words. It only censors b**** and gnatsi. So use the asterisks or someone will complain and you will get banzzored. They haven't finished the filters yet.

Thank you for this advice. I'll find a point in the story to hook in. I'll also try not to swear to much, but that's really not how I roll.

I used to let the board do it, but my last post I was quite shocked to see the f-bombs right out in the open. Yikes. So I had to go back and self-edit. In my own FF novel version I do not self-censor.
In one short story there is a section that could have gone in HBO's Deadwood. Shepard blew a gasket.

I need to post something soon. I may go back to mini posts just to see progress again. I've got stuff down but I want to resolve the outside drone issue and get to Rea this go.
I'll think on it.

For now, I have, and a maybe here, one more entry before I would continue with the Rea/Rothan part. Not rushing, just saying if you don't see me posting much it isn't because of lack of interest. It is because I want to give RB the time to write the Wyld parts relating to the R/R arc.

At last! A sort of Avatar. One that speaks..... to the redness, that is! The Belle!
On a more related note, I've got more to post, but I'm travelling back and forth between two computers which makes getting the data I need to polish hard. It's like there are two belle's. And neither are in synch.
That said I have finally decided to kill off a few redshirts to show that the situation is serious on the Wyld side.

Hey,
I'm aware that Momma is an AI, not a VI, but people tend to freak out if you go up to them and say, "Hi, I'm an AI. Do what I tell you, or you will die."
Just so you know, (that I know that you know that I know)

Awesome to see Momma's behind the scene's antics.
I doubt she'd do this with the established brigades, but it makes sense that she's working to preserve those who were cut off from the main group so they can rejoin. Hopefully after they do the dual pistol slo-mo forward flying dash while doves explode out of the underground in a fireball of feathers and napalm!............
Yeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh! <drool>
And I have to say. Size 14 font is sooooo much easier to read. All these new changes are preetyfunky!
Think of all the things I can do with these tools.
