It's all fun and games till the Misfits have a turf battle with the Wombles and Orinoco loses an eye.

Should have stayed in Wimbledon Common. But a Reaper's parked there with a no littering policy that put them out of business.

And Baldurjacks wishing for a hot drink at the end of all this.

So all in all, The 'Mako Run' arc has finished, and the stage is set for the 'Hotel_it_' arc.

"Ok lads"! The Krogan around Baldurjack looked up in obvious awe at his civilised appearence amoungst the barbarous Krogan soldiers. "Let's have a roll call. Ringo"!

"Here boss"!

"Archie"!

"Why we gotta go with new name's"?

"Just a yes, if you please. Caddy?..... Caddy? Has anyone seen Caddy"?

At that moment a huge hulk a Krogan strode into view from behind a broken piece of masonary. "Sorry". He drawled. "Had to drop a Thresher Maw off at Tchunka, if you catch my drift".

"Oh.Really!..... If we could just".

"It was longest one by far".

"I must insist.....".

"Thought it would be the death of me".

"Now see here!....".

"Anyone know what the record for the longest recorded is"?

Baldurjack stormed off in a huff. "Ameuteur's"! He complained. "I'm surrounded by complete ameutuers"!

"Have no fear master". Dougal said at his side. "I was watching him the whole time. I assure you. It was not a real Thresher Maw".

"Of course it wasn't"! Baldurjack raged. "What ever made you think it was"!

"It's just that Thresher's Maws......" Dougal shuddered. "Let's just say, There's been a bad experience with one...... it's got all of us worried.... And we'd rather not take chances".

The plots are picking up. This is getting fun.

In the interests of cross plotting madness.....

The group of Team Wyld has left the Bucky Valkyr, hidden as best they can, near an underground entrance. The explosives have been hidden. (Though if you fancy kitting out character's with hi yield boom boom's, all I ask is that you don't fin d the claymores.

Baldurjack, will need his claymores!

Also, the Valkyr has alot of other kit stored aboard, of undetermined ordanance taht will only become apparent when the crates are opened.

Unfortunately, the key ignition is in the helmet that Wyld took with her. However, if you still fancy taking her for a spin, just know that she can and will leave on a whim in a Herbie goes Bananna's way, owing to Momma being kind of fond of her adopted soldier's.

Oh, and I need her back drivable...... And Don't Scratch The Paint!!!

The Hotel _it_ arc may take awhile.

Sooooo, what do I want to get out of the Hotel _it_ arc......

To be honest, I haven't thought that far ahead. Then I asked myself that question. And I started thinking about things that had to happen. and things I'd like to happen. Put it down to a bad idea. Had some good ideas. Forgot them. Then decided that maybe writing them down made a certain kind of sense after all. But with uneviable sadness as some of the idea's I had are probably lost for all time........

Either way. Check list that may or may not be adhered too, cause I just like to keep a free hand i how I do things without building walls around myself.

Touch on the sister's of Fury.

Kill Naomi.

Don't kill Naomi

Give Baldurjack an actual heroic moment beyond his ineptitude.

Indoctrinate Wyld and Zia.

More kissing!

Melt Dougal.

Kill Naomi.

Break Wyld's heart.

Introduce the notion of what happens in the hotel and it's larger effect's piece meal in a detective style arc.

Scissors. Finger. (nuff said).

Reaper grey goo.

Don't kill Naomi. (Torn about this one).

Lose Baldurjack till the beam run takes place.

Establish the relationship between Zia and Aria and the sister's of fury.

Destroy everything! (mwahahah)!

Naked resurrection + Biotics!

Can't kill Naomi. She's kind of a driver for drama between Zia and Wyld. However, she's not getting a look in because Zia finds Wyld much more satisfying to play with.

Going to have to give her something to level the playing field between Naomi and Wyld. Something that appeals to Zia so that she focuses her attention on her instead of Wyld.

Have an idea......

Positioning character's for the event's to follow after having introduced alliance soldier's who are apparently the only guests at the safe haven in London.

I've been playing with the timeline so that event's play out slightly out of sequence in posts so that the reader is a step ahead of the characters.

It's getting to the point where time will have to sink back into the usual linear pattern as the drama of event's starts to unfold.

Scene's that didn't make it - III

Lewis drew out a plain gold ring on a chain and dangled it in front of Naomi. "I couldn't tell her how I felt. But when I did......".

"You got married"?

Lewis's head suddenly snapped around as his face grew twisted and contorted. "It ask's us. It ask's us preeeciooous. Yeeeees. But we mus'ant anssswer".

"She had something I needed". Lewis explained turning back and smiling gently. "Something I had to have. More than I needed my next breath".

Naomi clapped her hands. "You really loved her that much"?

"Quesssstiooooon's"! Lewis's head snapped around again. "It's keeeep's asking us preeeciooous. Does it susssspect us I wonder".

"It was a love to die for". Lewis said nodding.

"And you kept the ring with you. Even in battle". Naomi beamed and nudged the ring with the tip of finger making it sway.

Lewis stared at the spot where she had touched it. Looked at her, shaking like a leaf. Then ripped the ring off it's chain. Thrust it onto his finger. Picked up a chair and hurled it at Naomi who dodged out way.

"What! The! HELL"!!! She screamed. "You threw a chair at me"! She turned to Tector who had just finished dabbing the corner of his mouth with a napkin. "Lewis threw a chair at me"!

"You can't talk to him when he's like this". He said. "Just pretend he isn't there".

Naomi looked at Lewis who was perched on a nearby table with his hands over his eye's. "They can't see us." He said giggling manically. "They can't see's us Precious. Yeeees"!

If you need more Misfit's to act as canon fodder. Why not introduce the self proclaimed King of the Underground Railroad's Webber?

He can turn up with his entourage on a cobbled together rail maintenance sled, having heard of some of, what he consider's to be, his people, after hearing rumours that a group of them have thrown in with a group of overgrounders.

Cue an argument with the Misfit leader and their supposed king.

Then have Myrtle appear out of the shadows and start tearing into them.

Instant canon fodder and two midfit leader's at odds with each other.

The King wanting to stay underground.

The misfit leader wanting to help the team get above with the rocket's because he believe they can end the war.

Then kill the misfit leader, leaving the king. Who wants to go his way, but the Reaper's eventually leave him nowhere to run but through them.

Just read the post where Rothan steps up to the plate and MM is introduced.

And I love how MM made her appearence, first, by hearing her oncoming, then just having her appear from nowhere so that you have no warning as to what she does, or did in this case, when she arrives.

State of affairs in the Hotel.

Wyld and Zia are now down and out. Undergoing 'the signal' which they never had tea for. Wyld's about to appear on stage and Zia my find herself having a change of face.......<cough> pace. Meant pace.

Naomi is on the count's radar and has been taken to his laboratory with the good Doctor Humprey who is also under the effect's of evening tea. As are the marines.

Baldurjack and Dougal are loose. Which is both good and bad for all concerned.

The secret of the grey matter has been revealed. Though what it will be used for is still suspect.

And the intent of the army The Count has developed has been alluded to.

Oh, and the Count is a member of Cerberus. Those crazy kook's.

Coming to the mid game of the hotel _it_ arc and on request I may be maneuvering things to hook up with Rea now KR is off for a week, or round about's. Should hopefully take that long to wrap this up.

Then I'm thinking of developing another story aspect. Camp Bastion.

Depending on what people feel. I'm thinking of creating a camp where the teams begin to gather for the push on the beam.

I'm thinking of developing a second run for the beam after the team miss Shepard's, with the straggler's of hammer who arrived late.

It's early days yet, but wondered if anyone else had thought's on using Camp Bastion as a point to get past the trek through London, to offer a launch pad to the beam.

We can alway's not, if people still have lot's of stuff they want to do with their character's.

Since, as you mentioned, I'll be out if commish from Tuesday to Friday or sat, Camp Bastion input I'll save to see when I get back. I think it is a good idea as long as others have time to do what they would like. Rea's situation won't change much unless one of you wants to change it either, though I will gou best to get 1 or 2 more installments before I go. We might want to get a rough idea for how long things will go on for fo we know when we'll reach the climax of this whole journey. Or at least even the midpoint
