Personally I think he will be the game's main villain.

I don't think it would be possible for Shepard to be able to just freely walk around with a Geth squad member considering their race is enemies with every organic race in the galaxy.

From the new strategy guide info, it seems he will be just like a certain DAO charachter that was an enemy but cna be recruited near the end of the game.

Somehow I think the main villain slot is occupied by the leader of the collectors that posses his soldiers.

So you lack the imagination to see Legion accompanying Shepard on ventures in the Terminus systems... and thus he's the main villain of the game. Which technically makes him the leader of the Collectors.

I would need to be trilingual to know enough words to describe how much of a idiot you are.

I'm trilingual :D

And I think legion is a Geth who actually thinks for himself and finds that theres more to his existence than killing organics

Sweet, they will pull the old Logain trick once more. Except unlike Dragon Age where I cared for both character and it antagonized me the worst I have to do is kill Tali to get Legion. Sweet, easiest choice ever.

he play the role of the powerful anti-hero endgame party member present in a few bioware games (deaths hand, DAO's spoilerific example, darkside bastila)

I think Legion will be encountered and recruited halfway through the game, not at the end. But I think his story or loyalty mission will be resolved at the end right before the suicide mission. That is my theory based on the Prima guide sections. Having Legion only join at the end doesn't seem right.

I suspect he'll be like 'Bring me along Shepard, and we'll have a higher percentage of victory against the collectors.".

Then Tali would be like "NO WAY WILL I STAY IN YOUR GROUP IF HE'S A GRAY WARDEN"..

... wait.

He'll be constantly trying to kill you/ruin your mission until he realizes the collectors are a bigger threat and will then join your side near the end of the game. I'm hoping he has the same kind of comments as my beloved HK-47 assassination droid. lol

Why do people assume that Legion wants to kill Shepard? Consider how he is obsessed with Shepard, going as far to attach a piece of Shep's armor onto himself.

IMHO, if people think he is stalking Shepard to kill him, they are just not imaginative enough.

Having Legion as a squadmate would be as stupid as having a Darkspawn squadmate in DA.

Shame he's more than likely a squadmember.

Its true though. The Geth are reviled throughout the galaxy.

Having one in your party would make everyone either run away or try and kill him.

Hopefully he can join the party in midgame and not at the end. That way we can explore his personality and history in more detail. He sounds like the most interesting character by far.

We've never been told he wants to kill us, only that he's obsessed with us.

Your lack of intelligence is so great, your IQ is probably negative.

Actually it has more to do with the fact that there are 10 character slots and that they have all been filled by confirmed squadmates and Legion is not one of them.
It is cute though how hard you try to rile me up with your douchebag comment.

Garrus isn't officially confirmed either.
So at this point, there is as big a chance that Legion is a squaddie as Garrus.
