Already had those games used from auctions, but for such a price why not, bought them again.
Shame there is no DA:O Awakening.

I don't see anything about a special sale for "classic games" or anything at all. Are they only doing that in Europe?
I suppose so. For some odd reason I'm able to see the Europe Store which, conveniently (for Origin), charges me in euros.

Such a lively bout *kachunk* and KO victory for Steam in the first round, who would have thought.

Origin is having another sale till the 27th. You can save up to 70% on several titles. I'd tell you which but they're region specific.

Is DA: O on the PC worth the extra 5 bucks if I already have it on my 360?
If you're willing to take the time and mod it, yes.

I've noticed quite a few mods around here. They seem pretty cool. What I was really asking is if the PC version is better than the Ecks Bawks version. 5 bucks isn't a lot, but paying for the same thing twice is pretty silly.

Having never played it on the 360 I'm not sure I can answer your question.

I'll have to google it to see if it has any extra features.

And a lot of annoying bugs have unofficial fixes on the PC, which they obviously don't for console.
Having never actually played it on Xbox myself, I can't comment on if it feels any different, but I can't imagine DA:O's layout with a controller, tbh. But I'm biased that way.

I played Origins on the console once.... never again! You haven't seen a bad port until you play that game on the console.

So taking the 5 dollar deal *is* a good investment, then?
I would say so, especially if the version you are looking at is the Ultimate Edition and you haven't gotten all the DLC previously.

In other, more important, news, starting March 26, many Latin American countries will be redirected to the Origin Store in Mexico instead of Spain, where they'll be charged in US Dollars instead of Euros. The list of countries include: Argentina, Bolivia, Belize, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Paraguay, El Salvador, Trinidad, Tobago, Uruguay and Venezuela.
Cambios dentro la tienda de Origin para los países de América Latina
Took you long enough.<_<

Origin's new On the House program is live. On the House is a great way to start or add to your Game Library with awesome games and great content, for free. No catch—On the House games are just that, full versions that cost you nothing.
We’re kicking off On the House with a free copy of Dead Space for all Origin users. If you haven’t played the game yet, Dead Space is a fantastic sci-fi third-person shooter with an atmosphere of visceral horror. If you’ve been holding back from picking it up, now’s your chance to play it.
It’s simple to get: Click "Get it Now" from the On the House page, and it’ll be added to your My Games library where it’s yours forever. You can then download it to your computer whenever you want.
Our goal is to provide a great gaming experience and a way to discover awesome new games. Having a game in your library, for free, is a fantastic way to see what Origin is all about.
Keep checking the On the House page for updates -- On the House games are free for a limited time only, so be sure to grab them while you can.

I'm from Europe. I see none of this.
Regional restrictions are the way to go, EA. Many thanks.

You can still get Dead Space for free though. Germany here, no special sales window or whatever, but when I checked, Dead Space is listed as free.
Already had it though.
