I still love playing

1. Salarian Infiltrator with plain Widow
2. Human Sentinel with Lancer

knowing these guys are not the best choice in almost every game.


SI can do better with Black Widow.. and it is quite challenging if it comes down to soloing few waves with that set up.
Human Sentinel really doesn`t do anything to exceptional level, but with Lancer equipped HS brings entirely new fun with its power simplicity. (Warp/Throw as needed)

When I play PuG games with these guys.. I often have hard time soloing if the team is not very competent(not that hard with HS but not as easy as some other kits).
... I cannot tell why but playing these two are just more satisfying and fun so I play them quite often.

I wonder what other players choose to play just for fun.. knowing the choice is not going to make anything easier..

Asari Adept (Vanilla), I tend to mix it up weapon wise. I even run the Avenger sometimes, I only burst fire it though.

Skorpion with the Salarian Infiltrator.

GPS with the Geth Infiltrator

Vanilla hfe with a valiant, hurricane backup, ulm on both weapons (im assuming that's the less than optimal part, wrecks geth pretty well, does ok against everything else, although I struggle against multiple phantom death squads on higher difficulties

Destroyer with a Spitfire, because people will walk faster than I sprint and I can hold the trigger for multiple rounds.

GPS Geth infiltrator is my single best character though.
For human engineer, I find them very reliable in every situation mainly thanks to overload & combat drone. Combat drone causing Tech burst often deal with Phantoms pretty well.. but as you mention it might be tough because it takes time and caution compared to high damage kits..

I never got a lancer though. =(

It`s super fun. Warp/Throw BE, Warp shoot for boss, throw shoot for mooks. They become very easy target to high damage headshot even if they role and dodge the power.

Yes. I do play Batsent for similar fun. I used to do with with Kishock but now I switched his weapon to Crusader/Saber for bit more versality though.
He is definitely not the best choice for almost every game, but who can hate binding down those enemies for clear headshot

Speaking of Juggy/Mantis. I saw a fairly high level player using that set up few days ago... he scored very very low...

No, I am on PS3.
It was on Dagger. He was doing nothing but trying to snipe the enemy from the center room... which obviously didn`t give him enough enemies to shoot at.
