I'd like to suggest Dragon Age become a unified, persistent story world, which expands with each new game and DLC. Each game would stand alone - with its own protagonist and story - but its assets mingle with those of earlier games. As new engines and texture sets reiterate the growing game world, the older games remain current and fresh, used in new games and companion adventures in between.

Developing a game and graphics architecture which can be upgraded to match changing styles and maintaining
continuity between all possible endings of games might be challenging, but it seems to me that is part of the fun of the creative process.

Use new games as a one-time ticket and then allow people to subscribe for € 2,50 per month (I'd pay up to € 5) and receive further minor and major installments "for free". Even at € 30 per year, with the turn-around between games that's more than you'd make otherwise. It would also create a single interface for a growing library of (aging) games which will be kept current by succeeding engines.

This is a repost of a 4 month old proposal, whose terminology proved unsuitable.
