Doesn't matter, I'll buy DA:I solely for multiplayer.
Since ME2, there storytelling powers started to vanish. I still can't finish DA2.
Anyone else going to wait for user reviews before buying this?

if you put your faith in others opinions BEFORE you actually play the game yourself, then your problems run deeper than being dissapointed in a game.metacritic is trash as are most review sites.if it hurts you that much thatDA2 was bad, just wait until people start trading in copies and buy it when the price drops.addiction21 wrote...
Metacritic is about as honest as Fox news.

I do enjoy games they make. I just don't torture myself by buying into all the BS hype anymore.

No I will buy it but I afraid the multiplayer aspect will ruin it. I DO NOT want another MMORPG.
How do you figure that the multiplayer aspect of an otherwise single-player game makes an MMORPG?
I apologize I should have been more clear. I wasn't assuming that DA:I will be that. It was really just a comment. I am afraid however that the multi player will ruin it for me. I don't like multiplayer games especially when the story has always been single player oriented. As long as the single player campaign is not affected I will be okay with it.

My problem with Bioware is mostly due to the company's treatment of customers during the whole ME3 debacle and the attitude following the release of DA2. I don't want to reward poor customer service.
I really dislike condescension and I saw it then and from other company people here on the forums. This treatment has improved on the forums though so maybe lesson learned?
Also- even though I disliked much about DA2 and ME3 compared to their previous games I still finished them and enjoyed myself and have at least started new playthroughs multiple times. I can't say that about any other franchise except The Witcher series.
So I will probably wait until Angry Joe's review. Maybe Total Biscuit's too. (Just to listen to him talk, lol!)

This is an odd way to anwser to my previous post. I just stated that storylines began to degrade.

And also, lol (from the official site): Explore a vast, fantasy world at the brink of catastrophe in Dragon Age™: Inquisition, a next-generation action RPG, where your choices shape and drive the experience.
Does anyone there still believe this? Anyone?

Because pre-ordering ME3 (Collectors Edition) was one of the stupidest businesses and logical decision I have made in my life, heck, yes, I am going to wait for gamers’ reviews before buying DA3 at full price! However, considering it’s a different team from ME3, I am more optimistic about the game and actually looking forward to it.

I didn't really have problems with DA2, to be honest. I played it after I did ME3. Because of that, the ending of DA2 was logical, epic and super-happy.IC-07 wrote...

Still you have to be as discerning interpreting user reviews as well as professional ones. Decide what your criterea are for what you want in a game and make your decision based on reviewers that match those. IE, if you love story, you are not going to base your decision on someone who only wants a non-stop steam of fighting.
Going by majority thumbs up or thumbs down wouldn't work for me as I have enjoyed many things that were generally unpopular -- I enjoyed the entire Matrix Trilogy, I actually enjoyed the prequel Star Wars movies as much (sacrilege - in some ways more!) as the original series, and I am still subscribed to and enjoying SWTOR.
Tangentially speaking, I am encouraged that the release date is so far off. I am somewhat encouraged too by the release of Citadel DLC for ME3, as that was truer to the feel of the ME series than anything else from ME3, though only in my opinion. On the mixed front is this interview http://www.oxm.co.uk...r-future-games/ where the ME team seem to indicate there were lessons to be learned, yet only admit to some rather minor (though admittedly valid!) points -- and seem to miss what was really behind the ending debacle.

Seriously replayed DA2's ending after ME3 and suddenly it's just fine.
It's true. Seeing how bad it can get makes you appreciate even mediocrity.

I'll see soon enough. I'm doing my "fifth" run of DA:O, and that'll port to my fourth run of DA2. We'll see how I feel about DA2 after having gone through 3 plays of ME3 ending (granted, only once pre-all DLC.)

The same for me. But only with DAII. You should have seen how I was before this game. I was a ridiculous blind fanboy praising Bioware as if it was god, criticizing anyone critizing Bioware... What was wrong with me ?Beldamon wrote...
My reaction to DA2 and ME3 (both profoundly negative) has definitely led me to being a better consumer.
I am a better fan and a better consumer now.
