I never read reviews. Mostly because what they like and what I like never sync up. And because I think majority of them are either bought out or extremist fanboys/haters that would go off on a review in one way or another than someone in the middle couldn't really get a good grasp on what they could take from the game.
As for myself, I know i like Bioware games. Of course I always end up waiting to see what goodies you get when you preorder before I do anything. If there's no goodies I can probably wait a little but I won't read reviews. I'll probably just youtube spoilers or read things I need not read on the BSN and spoil my first playthrough with metagame knowledge. If there's some nice goodies, like Sebastian in DA2, then I'll have a full preorder lined up and ready - probably along with express shipping.
Anyone else going to wait for user reviews before buying this?

Waiting for reviews is perfectly sensible. But I think I'll decide after we find out more about the game. If it seems iffy I'll probably wait.
Yeah I was iffy about ME3, but chose to trust.
Won't be making that mistake again.
As to other posts, yeah DA2's ending is supremely satisfying as compared to ME3.

It really depends. Some games I own actually got poor reviews from users (on IGN, Gamespot) but I still enjoyed them in some ways. Thing is, a bad game to this group might be an ok game to others. So, personally, I will make my decision base on the info that BioWare give us between now and next Fall.

Nope I am going to wait until the price drops or I see it used. User reviews are about as useful as Critic reviews. Critics give it a good rating for the paycheck, Users are to emotional.

I will pre-order this game. I plan to play regardless of reviews whether they be from critics or users. At this point, I would not trust either. Actual review sites can be bought and bribed to give better ratings than a game actually deserves. By contrast, you can't trust user reviews either. Just look at the BSN if you need an example. There are plenty of people who full-on hate Bioware and their partnership with EA. There are also people who believe Bioware has done nothing wrong. Unfortunately, these are the two groups of people who write reviews and sometimes they write them without having ever played the game! How the hell am I supposed to read a legitimate review from a fellow, level-headed gamer when it's piled underneath so much bull****? It is almost like trying to find the hay in the needlestack.

Unless of course they offer enough bonuses for pre-order to offset the iffyness. But I may come to regret that.

They'd have to offer an entire gaming platform to to go with the game to overcome that iffyness

Eh, I think (with video games,) user reviews are a lot more useful than critical reviews. A lot more informative at least: chances are someone ranting on the internet actually played through the whole game. I remember there was a critical review for Alpha Protocol on one of the main sites where it was obvious the critic hadn't played past the first hub area.
You just have to take what the internet says about an AAA game with a grain of salt because it's usually going to skew negative and have a lot of hyperbole.
