Anyone else going to wait for user reviews before buying this?

Unlike the caterwauling classes on BSN I rather enjoyed DA2 and didn't have the major pant wetting problems with the ME3 endings like some did.

It's okay to wait for some decent review, but go look for some great impartial website, don't use idiocracy to decide when to spend your money.
EDIT: I'm with you on waiting for ME3 however. I bought it at Day One and I was happy with it, but a friend of mine played it with all the DLCs installed and the game feels a lot more complete. Even the problems everyone had with the endings didn't even show up for him, since the Citadel DLC + Extended Cut combo basically deleted every bad impressions he could have had at a first sight.

However I can't deny I'm super excited about DAI and if their collectors edition was something akin (as far as possible) to something like Ni no Kuni's wizards edition, I'd find it very hard NOT to pre-order a collectors edition of DAI.
Apart from that I'll need to see a TON of demo gameplay and a lot of info re: story, scope and characters before I commit to pre-order or buy on release.
The trailer looks fantastic, the return of Morrigan (and story implications of that) seems fantastic, I am very excited for this game, but not yet convinced. They haven't quite won me back but I'll definitely be watching...

If it's more of the same DA2 button-mashing idiocy, then I'll pass on this altogether (especially if the Benny Hill Strategem is still a viable tactic, see here for what I mean). If it looks like a compromise between DAO and DA2...then I'm likely to purchase, but not pre-order.
If it's DA2 but with pretty visuals and no blatantly obvious recycled areas, then I'm just done with the franchise.

Absolutely, this information is exactly what we need to make informed choices. I'm really looking forward to Bioware really going into depth about what the game offers.
Hopefully exciting times ahead.

Another point of view I completely agree with.ZeshinX wrote...
This won't be a pre-order from me, under any condition. I'm not waiting for reviews as much as I'm waiting to see gameplay, information on how the user interacts with the game (GUI, talent system, classes and what changes are made, skills if they return, how combat works, etc). I'm also interested on seeing how the inevitable DLC will be handled and if there's more Day 1 Debacles (though the DLC strategy won't really factor into a purchase decision).

Bioware announced that they have learned from their mistakes and that DAI will take the best features of both DAO and DA2. However, the first 2 announces were that we will be limited to play as a human in DAI and that the dialogue will again use the dialogue wheel with the awful paraphrase system. These are for me already 2 of the worst “feature” of DA2.
Because of that I really wondering what Bioware consider to be the best of DAO and I really fear that for them the best of DA2 and DAO is a less rushed DA2 without the recycled area and the wave system. If it is the case the game will be much better than DA2 (and the DA2 liker would love it) but to my point of view it would definitively not be a game that would deserve to be paid full price (and I doubt that Bioware would get back many of the customers disappointed by DA2).
For me it is still “wait and see” and I really want to see the gameplay of the game (I specially want to know if we will have a tactical view like an isometric camera or something similar).

If I had listened to what was being said on BSN and other places, I would have probably not gotten DA2 and it is one of my favorite games.
If I had waited and listened to the BSN and other places, I would have saved myself the train wreck that was ME3.

Sorry but I just wasn't one of those people who absolutely hated DA2 and everything it stood for or detested ME3's ending(s). Pre-EC the presentation of the ending was weak and Starbrat didn't explain its motivations very well, but I still thought the game was quite strong on the whole.

I won't be getting a Collector's Edition with stupid statues or anything dumb like that, but I will pre-order the basic edition of the game. Should a Signature Edition be announced, feature cool extra digital content and be not significantly more expensive than the vanilla release, then I'll get that instead.

I give Bioware credit for attempting to resolve the bigger issues with the ME3 ending. While one could debate how successful they were ad nauseam, I don't think it would be fair to discount the commitment shown to address the problem. They also released tons of free Multiplayer DLC. Excellent stuff, btw. People in the MP forum commented that they would have been willing to pay for at least some of them and were fully prepared to, not begrudgingly.

I seriously doubt I'll preorder. ME3 is a cautionary tale concerning caveat emptor
^--- This. So very much this.
Everyone knocking user reviews cause people's tastes are so different...
I'm waiting on user reviews. Not to hear whether or not they like the game, but whether or not the game is complete.
Seeing as DA2 and ME3 were rushed, full of bugs, and missing endings.
I'll wait to hear that DA:I is not that. From people who aren't getting paychecks from the company that makes the game.
If we got gameplay footage from Bioware that looked really good, it would help. Though it will not ensure my pre-order... Nothing will ensure my pre-order at this point.

But PUH-leeze, BioWare, get the order process straight. I pre-ordered DA2 on the very day it became possible to do so, but didn't receive the Signature Edition as promised because, (I was told) I had "...ordered too early, before the decision to send the SE to all pre-orders had been made."
The EA Game Advisor was able to authorize the digital versions of all the DA2/SE goodies, but no black-cover boxed set for me.
