Oh, I'm terribly sorry. Is there somewhere else you need to be?

That's probably my favorite line in the game.

"I am alive, and I am not alone."

So all that character development on Earth was for nothing them? Huh.

"I'm just a soldier, Anderson..."

Oh for F---! Sorry, Shepard, you're not "just a solDURR." You're a leader. Don't be a simpleton like Anderson.

"I'm no politician."

Even if that were true (it's not, negotiation and policy-making have been important parts of Shepard's job since AT LEAST the beginning of this series) you don't have a choice against the Reapers. You need all the damn help you can get. Don't brood about not being a diplomat -- become one!! Everything that matters depends on it.

"The Citadel? The fight's here!"

... 'need I say more? Shepard should know what he's up against.

"You saw those men back there. There's a million more like them, and they need a leader!"

SMH... another solDURRrrr. Anderson is so stupid, thinking that staying back and helping a bunch of farmers and average joes back on Earth while it's getting screwed by the Reapers is going to do anything worth a damn.

"I'm not going to let fear compromise who I am." / "I'm going to win this war, and I'm going to do it without sacrificing the soul of our species."

Philosophical dumbassery. Our species does not have a collective soul, for one thing. Immoral actions do not damn us all. Another, saving the Collector Base is not immoral to begin with. It is data with no moral value (thank you Legion).

ALSO, you have no grounds for making that statement -- no legs to stand on. Let's fast-forward six months and find out what your plan is: "We fight, or we die." Yeah, that's what I thought. You've got nothing. Blind hope is not going to win the war. You have NO plan; you are doomed until further notice, so don't go around guaranteeing anything as if you do.

On top of that, given how hopeless your situation is, you can't guarantee it will go exactly to your liking, either... whatever the hell you even mean by that "sacrificing the soul of your species"-nonsense. Beggars can't be choosers.

"I fight for freedom, mine and everyone's. And if I die, I'll die knowing I did everything I could to stop you... and I'll die free."

Oh, God. Help. Anyone Shepard saying this simply does not get it. This is not about your political values, this is about life and death. 'Did everything you could? YOU DIDN'T DO ISH MOTHER----ER! You abandoned the Crucible at the 11th hour because you didn't like the flavors. Your feels mattered more to you than everyone else's life. And no, you idiot, you don't die free. Unless you die in a horrifically irrecoverable manner (like throwing yourself into an incinerator or a vat of acid) you're going to be taken, dead or alive, you're becoming a minion to the very thing you detested. Criminy.

"Accepting another's (technological) path blinds you to alternatives."

Umm, no. Maybe if you're a rigid AI that can't think outside the box, which you may be, so speak for yourself. Anyone else, though, can always consider alternatives while following certain paths -- especially in a free-market economy ($$$). At worst, one becomes complacent and depends on an easy method, but that's an issue no matter what "path" you pursue.

Anything to do with the Reapers considering humanity to be special, because of our genetic diversity. About 75,000 years ago a supervolcano eruption nearly caused humanity to go extinct, and because of the resulting population bottleneck we are now one of the least genetically diverse species on our own planet. Our cousins the chimpanzees for example, have twice the genetic variability of humans.

"This isn't about strategy or tactics." Uh...yes it is. Call me crazy, but along with logistics isn't strategy and tactics kind of important if you are fighting a war?!

"A new DNA." *facepalm*

"Maybe the next time we go to war the Alliance can spring for air support." Umm what... sorry Liara, but how about the next time there's a galaxy wide war the Asari don't sit on the side lines until they need help.

So much this.  The way the crucible was introduced was absurd.

"That's funny. I figured you'd be more interested in a shower."

Seriously, what the hell? If I was Traynor I would be dialing 911 and running out of that room as fast as I could.

Anderson: "We have to go to the citadel, get help for the fight"
Shepard: "The Citadel? The fights here!"

Liara: " The next time we go to war the alliance can spring for air support."

really? If wasn't for the asari staying on the sidelines, it could have been alot easier. I wish we had the opportunity to say something.

The forced emotion scene on Earth, that's apparently the worst thing Shepard has ever seen given his reaction.
The Catalyst taking on the form of the slain child. It did that apparently because it was something Shepard was familiar with...does that mean Shepard is more familiar with the child than with his crew or anyone else? Everything that involved the child was one massive eye roller. And the dream sequences.

Storm troopers having better aim than Shepard when it came to sequences.

Benezia- No light..They said there would be a light!
Catalyst- Conflict between organics and synthetics is inevitable...etc. Meanwhile the geth are helping the organics fight the reapers.
Shepard- You're just a machine and machines can be broken.
Kai Leng- No. Now it's fun.
Jack- Most of what she said in ME2.

Any line of exposition in the entire trilogy - subjectively, I'd respond "And how do you know that?" to every other line in the trilogy.

*cringes* Oh yeah, I forgot about that little gem.

Mine would probably be in mass effect 2 when you find the guy in jacks loyalty mission like "Cerberus must have done this stuff for a good reason" crap. I mean, really? Did this mission really need to have this false moral dilemma shoved into it?

Anything the piece of **** ghost thingy says... meh.

MOVING ON TO RELEVANT STUFF

Anytime someone says "...Well..."

Everything in the EDI files on Cronos.

Mordin spamming "Had to be me" It was awesome the first time and the last, every other time just killed the emotion of the phrase.

Javik spamming primitive. Again, the first time or two was fine, after that there should have been a renegade interrupt where Shepard tells him to STFU or punches him in the face.

Anderson's second "I was born in London."

Shepard's "STEEEEEVE!!!" follow up lines. Great delivery on Steve, but the wrong lines were chosen to follow that level of emotion. Hell, they should have had Meer express such emotion when Tali, Samara, Miranda, etc. bite the dust.

Nearly everything Liara says in ME3. I preferred aloof, niave Liara from ME1.
