Unsurprisingly, the eye-rollers are all Shepard's lines:

"This isn't about strategy or tactics"

"The Citadel? The fight's here"

And fail!Shep's tirade in the Refuse ending, that may be the worst of all. What a self-centered assh*ole.

So picking your flavor of war crime and bending the Galaxy to your will isn't being self-centered?

What? :pinched:

It's just typical BSN self-righteousness. You get used to it.

Aw, man. There's a few. One that hasn't been mentioned: "I'm ready to punch someone, and you're too close". Also Wrex telling Shepard that his name will mean "hero" in Krogan. I know it was supposed to be heroic and all but it felt just out of place, coming from the big, unfeeling Krogan Battlemaster.

Wrex is not actually an "unfeeling" battlemaster. His gruff demeanor is not the same as being devoid of emotion.

'How bad is it?'. That's a lot of eye-rolling.

Some of the conversations with robot EDI were truly cringe-worthy.

Yeah, it was pretty derpy how EDI said she felt alive because of my Shepard's influence when I'd spent the whole series killing every synthetic I came across and continually saying they weren't alive in any way.

Every time Kaidan would open his mouth. Shut up Kaidan, you're boring. I also rolled my eyes every time Liara would say, "Shepard" Quiet you blue creature, go make me a sammich.

Also Liara 5 minutes after you started the game
-"i've discovered the plans for a prothean device, one that could wipe out the reapers"
My reaction.

(laughs)

That's one of the few things that every sect of ending supporter (and detractor) seems to have in common, even those who think they they're not being sanctimonious.

ME2: the Horizon mission in general. Why didn't the Normandy blast the Collector ship while it was landed. The Normandy had its Thanix cannon upgrade. The Normandy had its new armor. The Collector ship was a sitting duck.

Hence every line spoken groundside was a facepalm.

Shepard: EDI get the defense towers online. <_<

Why not this before landing...

Shepard: EDI get a fix on the Collector ship. Joker, bring the Normandy about and hit the Collector ship with the main gun. :)

With all due respect, I must disagree on this one…if the Normandy would’ve blown up the Collector ship while it was landed, the resulting explosion for sure would’ve wiped out the whole colony along with the VS, not to mention the colonists already on board.

The reason Shep went groundside was to save as many colonists as possible.

Samara: "The closest equivalent to a Justicar would be the travelling knights and samurai of human folklore."

I don't know how to say it exactly, but it's very awkward - like the writers made it too easy for themselves to describe to the player how she's supposed to be like.

"This isn't about strategy or tactics!"

If that big damn reaper didn't show up to end that horrible meeting I'm pretty sure Anderson would say right after on backstage: "Shepard, if you were not already in custody, I would have you a** fired".

The geth consensus. Before that hacked Shepard isn't worried, during it there was nothing but a propaganda fest comboed with poor us, and after it was contrived Legion dies?

And every moment Kai Lang was on screen or talked.

How you can avoid James' punches on the Normandy, but you can't avoid Jack's?

Edited to add: She often shares the same fate as Vent Boy in ME2.

Here's how to avoid!

1. Recruitment, I turn the sound down.
2. Don't talk on Normandy, don't do loyalty
3. Collector base, she dies.

It's effort, but well worth it!:lol:

Pre-Morning War Quarians in Environment Suits in the Geth Consensus. Gee Bioware, I guess this went over everyone's head as a bunch of blatant lies about the Quarians. Pragmatic Shepard doesn't question Legion's explanation of it inside the Consensus because Pragmatic Shepard needs Legion to believe that Pragmatic Shepard still trusts Legion after seeing this because Pragmatic Shepard knows she has to get out of the Consensus alive. Julia knows it is artistic laziness, but is role playing a Colonist/Ruthless Shepard. Sorry, Legion. You just consigned the Geth to scrap metal.

Kai Leng.... Yes, how could I forget. I would liked to have been able to reply to his e-mail.

Really? Yet, they were hoping to blow it up with the defense towers, not merely frighten it. If that would have wiped out the colony, it would have killed Shepard. It was about a km away. Forget the colonists on board. They were as good as dead anyway. None have ever been recovered. So I play a pragmatic Shepard.

You have to admit that the idea of blowing up that ship has weight. It has Krogan influence. But The Illusive Man wanted Derperus to ride in and save the day for propaganda purposes, nothing more.

What about blowing up the "dead in space" Collector Ship, then? It was an obvious trap. No Turian scout ship could have disabled it. Shepard derpped on that one. Oh, let's find their home world and gather intel. You know you need something special to get through the Omega 4 Relay and survive. You don't know where it leads, but who cares? You're going there anyway. Blow up the ship. I'm sure you'll find something like an IFF among the wreckage. Another plot derp.
