More of a roll eye scene. If Jack is your LI and she becomes a Phantom and you have to kill her. Shepard acts the exact same. Really Bioware?
If your LI isn't blue, Dextro, or Kaidan, BW doesn't care.
An argument can be for BW not caring if your LI isn't Liara.
Citadel really helps fix this for some of the romances (particularly Miranda and Jack), but overall:
Jack gets a 10-15 second kiss on the Citadel in the vanilla game.
Miranda gets a 45 second fade to black scene in a Citadel apartment (odd for her especially considering how important to the plot she is in ME2).
Liara gets several scenes interspersed throughout the game, some real romance dialogue, and a 3 minute scene on the Normandy that amounts to being something you'd see on Cinemax.

And the Citadel DLC did her justice, at least for me, but anyway - vanilla game, I didn't personally like all of it.

Lolwat.
Also, Shepard's constant view that Earth was the most important battlefield on the galaxy with constant "HEP URTH !!!" My Shepard wasn't even from Earth so it felt really out of place and forced.

Shepard is literally magically alright with Miranda's death right after the mission. Not that I do it, but I experiment.
My Shepard would have resolved to die in the final battle. His life and purpose at that point are gone. He doesn't even care about stopping the Reapers anymore, he just wants to die. And that's what happens.

Pre-Morning War Quarians in Environment Suits in the Geth Consensus. Gee Bioware, I guess this went over everyone's head as a bunch of blatant lies about the Quarians. Pragmatic Shepard doesn't question Legion's explanation of it inside the Consensus because Pragmatic Shepard needs Legion to believe that Pragmatic Shepard still trusts Legion after seeing this because Pragmatic Shepard knows she has to get out of the Consensus alive. Julia knows it is artistic laziness, but is role playing a Colonist/Ruthless Shepard. Sorry, Legion. You just consigned the Geth to scrap metal.
Kai Leng.... Yes, how could I forget. I would liked to have been able to reply to his e-mail.
Heh. Like you would have saved the Geth if Quarians in the video weren't wearing suits

Yeah it was weird when my Colonist said "It's good to be back home."
Shepard, your home burned down via slavers. Earth isn't your home.

Moral orders are ridiculous. I hated that whole thing in ME3.
"I expect my crew to use their own judgement. I have no use for crewman who don't have a conscious" or however that line went.
I'm glad we at least have the alternative: "If I give an order, I expect it to be carried out immediately."

ME2: Any paragon response to a Krogan.
ME1: "I should go." when spoken at the end of speaking to your LI.
I'm going to start using that phrase in real life. "I should go." Maybe we should all do it. Start a trend.

I've made peace most of the times. Part because I'm a completionist, part because it gives you the most assets, part because I thought it could work as long as the likes of Xen can use their brilliance on things that actually matter.

That happens in every case though, does it not? If you manage to bump off your LI in the Suicide Mission, for example, that doesn't change the dialogue either.Greylycantrope wrote...
"The woman I loved is dead...well whatever."
IIRC, the only LI death that gets special dialogue is Miranda on Horizon.

Haha, this reminds me how Shepard can rant about the Quarians breaking council law during the Rannoch arch. As a person who reads every codex entry, it makes me facepalm when my Shepard acts like a naive idiot when he should clearly know better.
Also obligatory "anything the catalyst says" nomination.

Biggest difference is in most cases even if Shep's reaction is subdued there's usually a scene that shows some reaction however small. If you kill phantom Jack in combat it's very similiar to how you run into Morinth. Shoot her in the face, and be on your way.Cthulhu42 wrote...

Yeah, but as a ME3 Paragon line (especially during the geth arc) you should have known the line would probably be facepalm-worthy before even picking it.justafan wrote...

Dear God don't get me started on the Rannoch Arch. I am generally a paragon with renegade tendencies and I could never quite figure out what my Shepard would end up saying based on the dialogue wheel. Case in point, picking the paragon option causes my Shepard to immediately forget 300 years of Quarian/Geth/Council history, that he should heve become privy to in ME1. Or, after Legion is gushing over the reaper code, I believe the prompt was "no". Believing this would be the common sense response that anything reaper-related is inherently evil, my Shepard tells Legion he has no soul to his face.<_<

He thinks Shepard should not support the Geth or believe what he's being shown.
