I'm doing my first play through as a human noble. I have Alistair romanced already. My goal is to become queen. ;-)

What if I romance Zevran too? I know there's a way to "have both"...but how? Never did two romances at once...

p.s. As for becoming Queen... I let Alistair kill Loghain, right? Help!

Well the only time I ever romanced them both at the same time, was by accident....so I just went with it. However, my circumstances were different than what you are trying to do (I am assuming you are trying to achieve this without mods, correct?). My PC was a dalish rogue, and no mods at the time, so no marriage for my elf.

Anyway, after exhausting all the convos and having the Skinamax scene with Alistair, I started chatting up Zevran. This led to me "accidently" flirting with him (and yes, my PC had a smarmy side to her, so it wasn't exactly intentional flirting on her part, just being who she is...LOL). Eventually, she got the "massage" request, and that tipped me off that I may have "started sumtin'". I decided to go with it. However, having never romanced Zev before that moment (now I almost always romance him...heh!), I didn't know about getting the ring from Zev as meaning something more, if you refuse the first time, then get him to offer it again. Since I had ran out of things to say with Alistair, I never got the "it's either him or me"...and oddly enough, I never got that from Zev. Don't know if that was a fluke or not, since I have tried running a rather skanky mage before and got the love triangle dialogues from BOTH Alistair and Zev. They disapproved... :P LOL!

As for becoming queen. Yes, Loghain must die, but you can either kill him yourself, or have Alistair do it (I generally let Ali have the kill though...*shrug*) The dialogue choices for becoming queen are pretty obvious, so you should be fine at that point. Sorry this wasn't bit more helpful, but I say give things a try and have fun! Worse case scenario, save before talking with both of them, if/when you get the "it's either him or me" speech. :D

I remember this one!

You have to "persuade" Alistair at the Landsmeet, after you kill Loghain.

You must be the one to duel and kill Logain.

Keeping Alistair alive without Morrigan's deal?

Would romance with Zevran stop him from betraying me?

Mods? Where? How?

No. Morrigan's deal must be accepted for both wardens to survive the Blight.

Kinda.

It is merely a high approval (actually, not even that high: at least +26) which stops him betraying you, romance or no.

You also happen to need a good approval score to begin a romance with him.

So a romance with Zevran and him staying loyal to you do go hand in hand, but the former is not a necessary condition for the latter.

I don't like Morrigan - but thanks - better than watching Alistair die

Technically, you are supposed to get a jealousy speech from either Alistair or Zevran, or BOTH depending on approval levels, how progressed the romance is etc.  If you don't, then your game is bugged and you managed to slip in an exploit that allowed both.

To 'get' both Zevran as your lover, and still marry Alistair, you must propose a political marriage to Alistair, not be in a romance with him, and keep (romanced) Zevran as your gigolo on the side.  I don't believe there is any 'persuade' you must use with Zevran (though I could be wrong, I've never actually done this scenario, just know about it), and if your relationship with Alistair is 'friendly' the persuade is "medium" (I think) when you propose at the Landsmeet.  Of course, if you aren't on good terms with him, it will be much higher.

And yes, Loghain must die, and you must accept Morrigan's offer.

Have already killed off Zevran - but will try both on the next go round
If Alistair does the deed with Morrigan does he do it with me (so to speak) as the beautiful, ravishing, adored one

And yes, there is only one option for Loghain

Not necessarily, you can play it where both you and Alistair survive, without the ritual, but at the cost of losing Alistair as a party memeber and friend.

This is not the scenario being discussed.  In this instance, you lose Alistair from the party.  And you can't marry him. And without Morrigan's ritual either Loghain, Alistair or the PC must die.

No matter how honourable or heroic do not want to see Alistair die again - will try Morrigan's deal

I know this is not the place to ask this but where can I change my user name? Have been all over trying to find a place
