Nice list, Lokiwithrope.
I hope you like what you have seen so far in The Fires Above Trailer.

We have lots of fun plans for Creatures in Inquisition... this is just the first taste :)

*Rubs hands eagerly*

I'm glad to hear of it. I'd like to see new demons, but I'm also interested in seeing new 'beasts' as well. (By 'beasts', I mean giant spiders, brontos and deepstalkers.) And some new golem-type enemies.

Please, tell me we won't be seeing any deepstalkers in DA:I. I hat those things, they're really annoying.

The hell you say? Deepstalkers are awesome.

I always wondered why those three-headed beasties represented as statues in DAO were not an enemy.

Kinda spazzed when I saw them. WHAT I AM FIGHTING FEATHERED DINOSAURS HRMAHGRRR.

They kind of are. I hope for more. As allies. If we get a archer with an animal companion for 3, that's my vote. Much like how Nathaniel always has his bear.

If this is just a taste of what is to come I am scared those Creature in the Fires Above Trailer freak me out and they look like them mean business, but you guys have done a good job on the style of them for sure cant wait to cast some spells at them :o.

I really liked that battle in legacy where deepstalkers and spiders (?) were both against you and against each other. That was brilliant. I think I played that about 8 times before I beat it.

And how the high level enemies had a range of attacks.

Those Tevinter giant scorpion riders, I should hope.

Other unnecessarily large arthropods are also appreciated.

dark spawn Slime
giant horror worms
dark spawn dogs
Phorusrhacids => Prehistoric Terror Birds
perhaps plants that have radically mutated to become dangerous from the darkspawn taint or fade or magical experiments

Or at least I am assuming they are demons. The second looks a little like an Arcane Horror, dunno what the other two could be.

The bottom one looks similar to the dust wraith I think its called, going by the mouth.

If they have animations like jumping from beneath you (like moles) or grabbing a character and taking him into the air (flying creatures) it would be great.

This one looks vaguely like a type of xenomorph, which is always a plus in my opinion. Posted Image

I'd be interested in if that bottom beastie had a longer reach in combat. I'd really like to see more of that kind of diversity in my party RPG.

(PS. The beastie with the octopus on his head doesn't look that scary to me. He just looks annoyed about the octopus, like, "Eww, man, gettitoff.")

Ash Wraith is the name, but they don't have legs. The are made out of the ashes of a burnt corpse, hence the name.

Most people think "Big mouth" is an Hunger demon (we have never seen what they look likes in the games).

I think the bottom could be that Fear/Despair demon. It certainly looks like it was designed to instill fear in people.

In a way I was hoping that DAI was going to concentrate on resolving the Mage/Templar war, be a political game with a real feeling of agency, This 'demonic invasion' isn't a deal breaker by any means, but it will have to work hard to not feel like DA:O the do over.

Not impossible by any means, and I am starting to become hopeful about it, but a political game, really getting into the lore, society and organisation of Thedas, could have been amazing as well...

The third demon pictures in that post looks like a Shriek and a Batarian were Isengard bred together.

Rastafari Skeletor.

And what would a Gluttony Demon do? Pelt you with Timbits?

It would feeds off over-indulgence. Taking too much gold, taking many lyrium potions within a short period, you eating too much food (of course). Excessiveness basically.

Please, if nothing else is eliminated, as least no more Shades! I had enough of Shades in DA2 to last a lifetime! (I could even take spiders before Shades!)

This is what a Gluttony Demon would sound like to me.

Is it just me or did one of the enemies look like a Promethean knight from Halo 4?

I bet these dragons also will be very challenging to beat besides these new creatures too.
