The hunger demon has a picture on the wiki. It looks a lot like the sloth demon though.

Maybe it's just me, but I wouldn't expect a hunger demon to have a big mouth. I'd expect it to have a big, broken heart. Or maybe a hole in its chest or something.
(I think that would make "insatiability" more believable.)

Hopefully, DA3 rectifies this.

Nice list, Lokiwithrope.
I hope you like what you have seen so far in The Fires Above Trailer.
We have lots of fun plans for Creatures in Inquisition... this is just the first taste
They're really well done, I love the design. They remind of Japanese games, and that's a good thing, since the Japanese are kick-ass with monster designs (Dark/Demon's souls.)

bro
I think we're dealing with a religious person. So it's not going to cut it if we go further xD
Talking about Demon's, I would love to see a quest centred around an excorsism. That would be creepy as hell, especially if the victim's like Regan xD

Or at least I am assuming they are demons. The second looks a little like an Arcane Horror, dunno what the other two could be.
This is a great start. I'm not only hoping for new enemies to fight, be they demon or otherwise, l'm also hoping for a serious revamp of the old enemies. In all honesty, with the exception of the darkspawn, all the other enemies looked the same to me in DA2 as they did in Origins with a few minor tweaks and imho, that was worse than the recycled maps. So seeing some new scary enemies makes me a happy camper.

New dragon varieties
The Children
Rock Wraiths
Ghasts
"Mythical" creatures like wyverns or griffons--not griffons specifically, but there have to be oddities of Thedas that aren't Blight-related or Demonic.
"Natural" creatures like big cats or insect swarms
"corrupted" creatures
"Animated" creatures like golems or the giant statues at the end of DA2
Undead
The main thing I'd like to see is for the new creatures to have more lore and plot to go with them. In Origins, critters had a big intro (your first ogre was a big deal, the broodmother was a BIG DEAL, werewolves had a whole plot section that revolved around them, etc.) In DA2, they got a brief "this is new!" mention and that was . . . it. So the rock wraiths and ghasts just came across as a new type of window-dressing with little substance.
You CAN change the window-dressing just for variety's sake and pull that off well, sure, for low-level "random" encounter stuff. However, I think having excessive tons of pointless low-level encounters was one of the major DOWNFALLS of DA2, so if they're going to introduce new creature TYPES, it shouldn't be handled like a mook palette swap.
Addendum: And no, having a codex entry about them does NOT CONSTITUTE A PROPER INTRODUCTION.

one question: with the introduction of new demons, will that mean the pride will finnaly feel like a REAL challenge? i mean, the lore hints that one of the more powerful ones getting threw the veil could bring the world to ruin, yet in the 2 previous games they were pathetically weak compared to some other enemies. IMO they should be as hard to kill as a high dragon

Pride Demons should become Vanity Demons. There's nothing wrong with pride. Having too much pride can be bad , yes, but vanity is bad, no matter how much you have.kinderschlager wrote...
kinda disapointed, if this is the stuff they were talking about being uber creepy in the spider/camel spider thread, i feel let down, none of it even comes close to broodmother ick levels

The third demon pictures in that post looks like a Shriek and a Batarian were Isengard bred together.
I was thinking along the same lines. The top of it's head totally looks like a Batarian with extra eyes.

Edit: (Actually, maybe DA2's ARW looks like the ghost of this guy.)
Edit again: Oh man. Imagine if you could use a rock beastie (who does stuff like the ARW) against its enemies - like you could with ogres in DA2 - that would be the best. Mr Gameplay designer, do that, OK?

Gameplay wise?
One of the things I really liked about DA2 was that it still felt turn based, party based, at its heart, but with a few important action elements over the top.
