I want to fight Basilisks. They've been mentioned before but we've yet to see one.

Really? Where did they mention Basilisks?

Alistair does in his infamous "Have you ever had sex" discussion?

"Have I never seen a basilisk? Ate jellied ham? Have I ever licked a lamppost in winter?"

Can't believe I missed that.

Now I'm really curious. Are they snakes, perhaps? Or maybe multi-legged lizards? Do they have connections to the Fade? Are they possessed lizards? Maybe they're cat-sized, and exotic lords have them on their laps.

Your guess is as good as mine. Traditionally, the basilisk is a giant lizard that kills with its gaze.

i'd like more cool critters and things that'd make for interesting battles. what if we see a graboid type deal in that big ol desert? sand worm enemy would be something new. or if we go over water, a sea monster of some sort.

basically more cool monsters, less bandits/thugs/etc and please less skeletons. if i have to fight one more skeleton in a fantasy game im gonna kick my computer.

I'd love a basilisk in the game.

I'd prefer to see a greater variety of "natural" creatures like lions, giant scorpions, carnivore plants, some sort of burrowing creature for the deeproads (right now it's all darkspawn + the occasional spider) that would surprise your form the walls/floor(like the ankheg).
All the demons and shades and abominations can get rather same-y after a while.

Also I'd like enemies that can only be wounded or killed with a certain type of damage (fire or cold or acid). It would finally give you a reason to put poison on your weapon or upgrade it with a fire rune or use firebombs or whatever. I never needed to use those in any DA game. I usually only notice that bombs and blade coatings even exist when I'm cleaning out my inventory.

I'd like to see a blight owl.  They're mentioned in The World of Thedas but haven't appeared in game yet.

I think they showed up in the pen and paper game.

I would bust a gut if I was beset upon by a flock of corrupted owls.
