I played DA:O and DA:2 on my Xbox 360; however, I will be playing DA:I on the PS4. Has Bioware mentioned anything about how our previous choices will be carried over to the next gen consoles?

I was tempted to go out and buy DA:O and DA:2 for the PS3 but I would rather not spend all of the time again

They've said that they will talk about it eventually.

I don't think directly importing from one console to the other will be possible, whether it's from the current X-Box to the next generation X-Box or the PS3 to the PS4. It's likely we will simply check off the specific actions we took during the events of Origins and Dragon Age II to "carry over" our actions into Inquisition without directly importing our previous saved game, which might avoid some of the import issues that Awakening and Dragon Age II faced.

They said they've developed a way of getting around import bugs, but we don't have specifics. Most people (that I've seen, anyway) are assuming it will be some sort of checklist or comic or something like in Mass Effect. But that is speculation.

I agree. It will most likely be a checklist because of all the troubles they had with importing choices in Dragon Age 2 so I think you'll be safe starting DA:I on the PS4 :)

You do realize that you could just get DA:I on the 360 too right?

aww I thought this thread was going to be about speculating about what choices or kinds of choices we'll have to make in DA:I

As long as my choices from the previous two and dlc count is all that matters to me, then I'll be a happy camper.
