Well I guess Sandal knew all about DA:I before we did! I am very curious to know what Sandal's real story is.

I remember Sandal saying that. After a few events with him in game I payed more attention to him. I do have an idea on what/whom he may be talking about.

Thought he says a few other odd things in DA2. Been awhile since I played DA2.

He wasn't the only one who new before the trailer. I'm going to leave this as my I told you so, though keep in mind I was mentioning my theory since a while after da2 release. This was just the only topic I made about it.

My theory is that "Everyone will be just like they were" refers to the Tranquil returning to their pre-tranquil state, and "When he rises everyone will see" refers to DA3's protagonist.

Good one and very interesting... my curisosity is definately piqued. Will this be the event that brings people together - or will it cause further chaos?

nah, at least with regards to the second part. They wouldn't erase femquisitor like that. I wondered if it was the Maker or a bad guy or idk that dragon who knows

This conversation only happens if the OGB exists (?). There's also theories that everyone used to be a mage a long time ago, and that that is what Sandal refers to when he says everyone will be like they once were. And: ''When HE rises, everyone will see''. Notice the HE. (OGB is confirmed he)

Well we know for sure that all elves used to be mages. I am assuming that the point of this prophecy is that someday the veil will be removed completely, then everyone will have access to the fade as it will be merged with the world, not just mages (that is the only thing that makes them different after all).

I am willing to bet that whoever the "when HE rises" person is, that is the antagonist of DA:I (quite possibly even the person we see depicted on the dragonage.com site. (the rings representing the influence he has on all those factions, "the agent of chaos" working behind the scenes to accomplish what this prophecy speaks of)

"He" could be refering to Morrigan's OGB! It was confirmed that the kid was male in the Witch Hunt DLC.

I can't decide if I think it means everyone used to be a mage and everyone will be a mage once again, or if it means that everyone who was made tranquil will be normal again...

Were they living in Hawke's house? If so... I would've have freaked out big time. Paranormal stuff just creeps the **** out of me.

Yes, Bodahn and Sandal at this point were living in Hawke's house, I think.
