Pretty sure Bioware's already taken care of casting... so what's the point of this thread now?

Has it been confirmed that the player character (is or becomes) The Inquisitor?
Or is this an assumption?
From Dragonage.com:
It falls to you to restore order as you lead the Inquisition and hunt down the agents of chaos - your choices will forever change the Dragon Age.

Ugh, I hope it will NOT be Jen Hale for FemInquisitor. She's a really fantastic VA, but she's already in everything, and hearing my FemShep voice coming out of my Dragon Age PC's mouth would take me right out of the game.
She's not limited to one tone, though. I'd love to hear her channel Bastila into the role.

After playing Bioshock Infinite and The Last of Us, I'm sold on Troy Baker's voice acting. And I feel like Jennifer Hale is already in everything I play, so why not Dragon Age also?
If we're tapping the Infinite well, I wouldn't mind seeing Courtnee Draper as our female hero, either.

I don't know why that didn't occur to me. I would definitely be okay with that.

As I said, I know she is very gifted and does an array of different accents and tones. I just...prefer her in BioWare's sci-fi games.
I suppose the accent of our Inquisitor will likely hinge on where she/he hails from? If it's Orlais, I hope they use a native French speaking actress, or someone who does an excellent imitation of such.

Haven't they used native French speakers for Orlesians in the past?

Didn't she quit acting and go to law school instead? If not then I'd like to see her as well, or even Ashley Johnson.dreamgazer wrote...

EDIT: Also, no more Troy Baker, lol

According to Wikipedia, she's only mostly quit acting.
I'm torn on Troy Baker. While he's undoubtedly a great VA, I don't know if I want him voicing every video game protagonist in existence.

He is definitely prolific, yet Bioshock Infinite, and The Last of Us are the only games I've played where he has a large role (that I know of anyways). So I have no problem with him.

He's also voicing Delsin Rowe in Infamous: Second Son.

Semi-confirmed rumor - Troy Baker will voice the male Inquisitor because Troy Baker is the new Nolan North 2.0 and thus is set to voice every male character that matters in any game from now on ;P
I would love to have him as voice actor

Not only would he do a fantastic job, his name would also help in marketing (too bad he's probably too expensive)
