LOL, I fully agree, I'm going to be really pissed if my decisions from both games are null and void.  To many hours spent playing and the hours with dlc as well for my decisions to not be a part of the new game.  This is the information I want most on....how are they going to do the save imports?   BTW only one of my wardens is dead, only one of them.

It's kinda intriguing on who is in the body bag, which I'm sure the vid was meant to convey....speculation, which is fine with me I love speculation on this game.  Atleast we have something to talk about.  Since the news on DA well has gone dry for so long.

Ok, my first choice for this person is Alistair.  I have a strange feeling they are going to kill off many of our former companions from the first game and given what is happening with Alistair in the comics makes me wonder if this is Alistair (in the bag).  Varric and Isabella both went with Alistair in the comics to help him and protect him.  Varric would also feel he let Alistair down if Alistair gets killed.  With Alistair and King Maric both dead who is ruling Ferelden? 

My seond choice is Isabella or Leliana even.  Could also be Merrill as well if this is a woman.  Varric would be sad if this person is Merrill.   The person in the bag could be our Hawkes.  Gwad, we have to wait more than a year to find out.  I hope we start seeing character reveals soon. 

This is all speculation on my part.

I don't think that the body is Hawke (well I hope not), I think Varric is just taking in the futility of the destruction around him.

I like to think that my sarcastic Hawke is in Thedas somewhere telling really bad jokes at inappropriate times!

I'm amazed there are so many Hawke haters. Maybe if you had played him/her differently you wouldn't have had such a bad opinion. I liked my Hawke, probably even better than my Warden.

While I would really love to see Hawke and even my Warden show up in any capacity, I also wouldn't mind if they are both dead by the time Inquisition starts.

Probaly because people could not make Hawke a Mary Sue like Shepard so Hawke sucks for them, along with other tihngs I have listed.

I don't believe Cassandra would spend all of DA2 looking for The Hero of Kirkwall if Hawke wasn't going to be an integral part of DA:I in some form or another not sure about our Warden though.

I think Isabella and Varrick will defiantly be a part of DA:I as possible Anders if he wasn't killed off in DA:2 Since he started the war.

Merrill I just love her for some reason as I like the naïve and sweetness of her and my characters usually have her as a Love Interest she definatly has more going for her than was in DA:O she seemed so stiff and no personality in the Dalish Camp.

Merrill is one of my most favorite companions I just love the Naïve and sweetness mixed with all the raw power and is usually my player characters love interest so I hope she lives on.

Bioware needs to stop trying to remake Shepard. It won't happen. Hawke was extremely frustrating to play as. I'll admit a big part of that was the diaologue wheel.

Also I want no remnants of DA2 in DAI

Not being Shepard 2.0 or like Shepard is a good thing. I'll take my snarky sleezy mage Hawke over drama Shepard anyday thanks.

hawk was pain the ass to play. Ok- 90% was because of that stupid wheel the other 10% was just the way hi/she talks and walks.

Why do people assume it's Hawke when the body actually looked quite small? It could be a dwarf child for all we know. Just because Varric is sad, doesn't mean he gets all emotional for Hawke only. I'm 100% sure it's not Hawke as evident by just looking at the small sized body.

I am not assuming it is Hawke like I wrote- I am actually unsure if it is Hawke. If it isn't -YAY. Also why I asked the question of who else people think  it might be. For example: Isabel, some random soldier, or an unknown friend of Varric, etc.

 I love it how you guys think Hawke is dead because of the body Varric touches, while the better evidence is the fact that Varric is wearing Hawkes red scarf (from the Champion armor set).

It's just a random victim i think. Besides I'd like to forget about Hawke as much as possible in DA3.
