I didn't know if you were sarcastic or not. I don't think players want a god. The protagonist can make mistakes and he doesn't need to be " the chosen one ". That said, he must be competent with extraordinary abilities, so he can effectively respond to extraordinary events sweeping the world.WittingEight65 wrote...

Not really. This isn't about being a god, perfect, without mistakes.WittingEight65 wrote...

I don't give a damn about a normal person if he is dumb, selfish, powerless, hardly relevant to the plot. Yep.
That's what i'm saying. The protagonist of the game can't be a normal person than makes mistakes. The protagonist has to be perfect, a godlike being, like Shepard.
And, I find this " normal person " idea really stupid to be honest. We are talking about extraordinary events that could change the world. This isn't an ordinary poor guy, with no real intelligence and no real strenght, hardly relevant that will respond to changes and extraordinary events.
I always laugh when some people are saying, but Hawk was a normal person as if that was the best idea evar.
I'm actually saying that it isn't a good idea, precisely for what you said. The protagonist is supposed to be someone "special", the only one that can save the world and stuff.
