I don't hate hate them. My problem is that my skill level is such that I can only clutch the last few waves on Gold with certain classes. So if I pug with a kit I'm not particularly used to, we might fail on wave 10. Thus wasting a whole ton of time, since pug matches are typically long.

And then after this happens, you hear a pug say "Sweet, we still got a bunch of cash from this. Good game guys."

I wish people would just stick to the difficulty level at which they are most comfortable. That's what's really ruining pugs - people playing at 2 difficulties above their comfort zone.

I seem to have good luck with PuGs. 95% of the time we extract on Gold with at least 3 players scoring >100k, reviving, contributing to objectives etc.

Never quite sure what the fuss about them on here is all about.

There's a huge, massive difference between platinum pugs and gold pugs. People I find in gold pugs tend to be more skilled than the platinum pug population, gold pugs aren't all too bad. Platinum pugs on the other hand are extremely bad in my experience, lots of people quitting early on, lots of people not using any equipment, not even a gear bonus, not even equipping any weapon mods. Very rare to find a decent platinum team, very rare.

I dunno, I'm a 100% platinum pugger. Usually off host. (seems easier than hosting)

I can clutch occasionally, but don't think I could solo an entire game. I think success rate is pretty high, definitely over 90%.

Maybe platinum pug has less lame people than gold/silver pugs, except when you join a game in progress, fail, and notice later that some people are new people with N7 score of 25.

Although, I do resort to playing GI or TGI or GT often to make sure I can make up for a noob being in the game..

From the wave distribution, you failed to extract at least 14 times out of at least 23 gold games

This included trying once and fail to extract on gold
i) Rio
ii) Goddess
iii) Jade
iv) Condor
v) Glacier

You have never done gold since the challenge system on the maps
i) London
ii) Vancouver
iii) Dagger

Silver lobby's are actually better than gold lobbies it seems.  After I recently promoted and went back to silver for some games, the players were better and better equipped on the whole on silver.

If he is a regular carrier (as the only carrier or as a duo carrier) on silver pugs, his average will be around 80k at least (regular last man carriers will be 90k+), If he is a regular carrier on gold, he'll be looking at 120k at least. If he does not regularly carry, then of course if failing is normal for him, getting dragged by bad pugs won't be a problem

We all come here for a reason, me to escape my studies for some time. you why do you come here all angry and such. why do you persume everything which is being told to you is a lie. 
Seriously its just a game. its not like we are competing here, its just a coop game. there are no prizes to be won. no one to yell your name when you enter the room. just a bloody game played for fun.

If someone said they have done something, there is a good reason to think they had. there is no incentive to lie on the fourms...

I don't argue with the other points you made in that thread but avg per game is not a good indicator.  Since starting to play this game I have played a TON of one or two wave bronze matches just to test out some gun or feature etc.

Sad to say, i'm old enough that your rather obvious attempt to provoke doesn't work. However it does show 1 thing. Your ego really took a hit enough to try and make me mad . Sometimes though, i wish i was as young as you to think such methods would work

Scoring top doesn't necessarily mean you carried. It doesn't automatically mean everyone else played badly. A lot of people seem to be missing this point.

None of thse are critical indicators. However all of them are pieces to form a single picture and that picture discounts any attempt to make up excuses on him steam rolling everything before the challenge system was implemented. 

Now, no way did he do much bronze as his number of bronze waves mostly equal his silver waves so that leaves nearly undiluted silver and gold. Since he feels that 2 people can finish the match easily, then the implication is that he is one of these 2 people. However his average score discounts him as being am actual carrier (remember undiluted silver and gold) which pretty much destroys the lie. See for yourself

There was nothing to harm my ego, its just a game and i stand behind my claims and i am happy of my level of gameplay.

The only thing that fouled my mood was the incredible amount of personal negativity i encountred on this forum.
Part of the blame is for myself for the choice of words which may have enticed such actions, from the easily arroused crowd.


The intention of this thread wasnt to open a personal flaming debate.
And yes two people (Krogan more so than others) can carry a match as long as they stay away from sync kills
