Probably PS3.

Unless DA:I has anything beyond the basic changes to the world state, how the game imports directly from the console's save files may be no different from that of the Keep. That's my hope anyway, because the idea of being able to migrate from system to system without losing progress sounds like a godsend.
Why would the Keep be different from a direct import? Except for clearing up incoherent variable states, which the Keep can fix but a direct import can't.

I wonder if there'll be different release dates according to platform or if they'll release concurrently. For instance, maybe the PS3 and 360 versions release earlier and then PS4, X1, and PC release a week later?

It would be the opposite if the releases weren't the same day, I think.

Not necessarily. Sure, if you think about Titanfall, the 360 is releasing later. However, if you consider Dark Souls 2, it's the PC version that's coming later. If they're developing the game around next-gen/PC then, yes, the PS3/360 versions will come later.

Pea sea.
Might put an SSD in it, and maybe up the RAM to an excessive 16 just because I'm like that, but otherwise I'm good to go.

We already have it. Of course my husband hasn't let me near it yet. Good thing DAI isn't out for awhile, I guess.

Hopefully PC, if I can figure out how to upgrade it properly. My funds are limited, and I don't trust the internet to not completely screw me over when it comes to advice. They're dicks like that. So if there's anyone that's familiar with PC specs, a bit of help would be cool. Any idea how to make the most of this with around $300AUD?

The release date is getting closer, and I'm getting antsy.

Ehh, you can do some with that amount, though just understand the less you spend now, the sooner your specs will become too little for newer games.
I would get another 4GB stick of RAM for one. Can't go wrong with that, and it's only $40 USD currently (~$45 AUD). Just look at this for info on mix-and-matching RAM: http://www.lifehacke...t-types-of-ram/
But that leaves you with only about $250 AUD for a graphics card, which is easily the weakest link in your system. In your price range, you're looking at either a GTX 760 or a Radeon 270/270X. They're a little more than that $250, but I wouldn't go any lower than that on power. According to this http://www.videocard...h_end_gpus.html, of the two the 760 performs better. It would give you comparable GPU power to my own system (580 Ti), though it will obviously be a bit better. I'm sure I'll be able to run DA:I fine, but I'm less certain that it will run at the highest settings without dropping FPS. Maybe somebody with BF4 could shed some light on that.
One note I want to make is don't fall for one of those cards that I posted boasting 4GB of memory for a slightly increased price. Now I may be off the mark, but as I understand it, the 256-bit memory interface will at least partially bottleneck those extra 2GB, resulting in minimal performance increase. Although interestingly, despite having 3GB VRAM and a 384-bit interface, the Radeon 280X is still outperformed by the GTX 770, with 2GB and 256-bit interface. More expensive too. Okay, that might not actually be interesting to you.
Anyway, my personal suggestion if you're set on getting something with the amount you have is to get a 2GB GTX 760. EVGA is my personal preference.
http://www.newegg.co...N82E16814130934 (There's another version for $20 USD more that has a better cooler, apparently, if you think that's worth the extra money.)
Plus the cost of the 4GB RAM, puts you at about $320 AUD, plus shipping. I'd say that fits your budget well. Oh, and for the love of the Maker, make sure that your power supply is big enough for your new card. The 760 uses 200W more power than your 240, so I THINK you'll probably want at least a 600W. You might want to check me on that, but that should be enough.
If you want better, http://www.newegg.co...N82E16814130921 the 770 will be about $120 AUD higher for your total.
If you save and go all the way, this 780 http://www.newegg.co...N82E16814130918 will put you out yet another ~$140 AUD. But it sure does look nice. ![]()
Them's your cost options.
Does that help?

I'm really hoping the DA Keep won't be garbage.
