You can't play DA:I without Origins?
Origin, singular, EA's digital distribution client.
Just don't read it in her voice.
Leeeee! Why are some people on this forum so mean to each other? It's hurting our group. Can't we just make them get along?

Does that help?
It does. I appreciate the assistance.
They say I waste my money on pointless things.
We'll see who's laughing when they feel the desire to multitask DA:I, Photoshop, Windows Movie Maker and 18 tabs of pornography all at the same time.
You may laugh, but I let gimp use 10GB of RAM to edit multiple large images at once, while having a dozen (non-porn) tabs open in Firefox, a host of text and pdf docs, while running mass effect 3 and Civ 5 and Deus Ex. Don't ask why.
Xbox One
I'll likely get Dragon Age: Inquisition for PC, especially if it's true that the game will feature innate gamepad support.
I will play on PC. I have no console and I don't want to buy one.

Oh, maybe I fail at picking up on stuff but I didn't think either of us was being mean. Even if I'm just living in la la land, I'm happy ![]()
If it's like DA:O PS4.
if it's like DA2 nothing...
I... Honestly don't know what I'll play on. I know what it won't be: 360 or PS3. While I own both, this game is looking too pretty to settle for second best.
So, that leaves me with the technically superior pc (after upgrading my video card from the current nVidia 560TI), but with the discomfort of playing in my office chair. Oooor I could buy whichever of the new consoles has the most exclusives I'm interested in at the time in addition to DA:I and play on that for supreme couch-lounging play, which I rather like for games I tend to play for as long sessions as I do with Bioware games. I'll eventually end up with both new consoles, just like last generation, but the Xbone is probably the front runner for first buy at the moment.
Gah! Too many choices, not enough money to just go buy all the things at once.

Haha, my bad. I didn't mean to imply that was happening here. I was just commenting in general on this forum's, hmm, tumultuous history in a Clementine voice. You're good. ![]()

Maybe you should upgrade the chair too?
Hehe, it's actually a good, well worn chair, but it's still a chair, meaning it'll never come close to couch-level lounging.
PC

Get a kneerest for mouse & keyboard
Plug PC into TV
????
Profit.
Alternatively, we've been told there's controller support.
PC is mounted in desk brackets upstairs, couch and tv are downstairs. No go:-)
If history is anything to go by, I'll end up with console first, and then if mods become a thing, get the game again on PC eventually once people have cranked out some sweet stuff. Or even just a lock-bash mod. Such a simple thing, but a total game changer in Origins.
Hmmm, this multiple platforms thing... Wonder if the Keep will make it possible to transfer ongoing saves between platforms, that'd be sweet. Doubt it'll happen, but damn it'd be awesome.
PC, with a shiny new video card so I can max out settings. ![]()
Well since I have played the pervious DA games in the 360 I might get it for the 360. However if you are able to import from the 360 to the xbox one or the keep actually has good decisions making, major or small in which every single one will be in Inquisition then I might get it for the xbox one for the better graphics it will have. Such a beautiful world need to be appreciated. Also alot of people I know such and friends and family might be getting it for the xbox one. Nothing feels better than sitting down on a nice seat with a nice big hd tv in a nice refreshing cool rooom with some good turtle beaches headset to merge with the world even more. (pj clothes a plus) ![]()

Definitely the 360, and most probably the PS4 by then too. My son also informed me that he plans to buy an Xbox One sometime this year, so maybe a copy of DAI on that system too. We would also get it for PC if it released through Steam, but my PC gamers don't care for Origin. Alas.
Heh. I guess I don't get the concept. If s game's any good I don't feel like relaxing anyway.
I have a hard time playing games while lounging actually. Whenever I play on console I drag my computer chair over in front of the tv. Maybe I'm weird ![]()
Looking to upgrade my rig for other games so PC most likely.
PS4 for starters, definitely.
Beyond that will depend.
It'll depend on the PC requirements and money, but I'm hoping to get a new PC for this, if not it'll be PS3.
