After many (many) years of upgrades, my current desktop is maxed-out and just isn't up to the task of running the latest games well.
So I'm ordering a DigitalStorm rig in time to do a complete DAO->DAA->GoA->WH playthrough before Inquisition's release. 
PS3. My computer can't handle it and I don't have money for a PS4 yet (and Infamous Second Sons is the only other game for it I really want for now). When I do have a PS4, I might buy DAI again for it. Maaaaaaybe.
I can live with slightly worse graphics. ^^
I am going to buy an Xbox One specifically for DA:I. I'm also going to be trying to set up with a new TV and sound system. I'm wondering if anyone here has some recommendations? I'm thinking about the following:

With the new engine and my PC being too outdated now, sadly I won't be playing the next Dragon Age. I would love to, but I don't do consoles and can't afford any upgrades for my PC. I'll have to watch someone do a "let's play" on YouTube instead.
I'd give it a shot if I were you, Frostbite 3 is not that hard to run if you lower / turn off the über demanding settings (displacement mapping, ambient occlusion, soft shadows and that kind of stuff).
Battlefield 4 works on washing machines if you run it on low settings, and DAI will be less demanding.
- Sound: something relatively cheap and effective...sound bar? Budget: ~$250
You have pretty decent headphones on that budget, they will sound way better than everything else you could buy.
Since my husband just bought our ps4 yesterday, that! Got one for 400 bucks, tax free, at the NEX (Navy exchange)! Yay! PC later, since I don't feel like upgrading mine.

xbox one if I can afford the new console by then. If not then I will get it on the xbox 360
I will be playing on the PC as it is therapeutic for me to be surrounded by other control freaks who work diligently to surpass the annoyances or limitations I obsess over.
PS4 for the CE, and xbox 360 for the Deluxe Edition. 
Totally playing this on the PC...even if I have to upgrade my PC.
People prefer consoles because of the gamepad? The fuark, it's easier to connect a gamepad to a PC then it is to a console.
Oh, and I'll be playing on PC, dragon age has always been pretty terrible on consoles, especially now with the return to more strategy-based combat.
If my poor PC won't run the game, that'll be PS4. But still PC is more preferable.
I am primarily a pc gamer, so all glory to the PC master race!!! (mostly for the shinies to be honest.)
if I were to play it on another platform I would have to say Xbone as I do not use it as much as the person who bought it for me thought I would.
Was the PS4, but it looks like I'll be joining the PC Master Race just in time for my birthday.
At first I was going to just get it for Xbox 360 and hold out on buying a new console.. but now I'm thinking I'll just preorder it for Xbox One and pick up a console before it's released. Especially since there are now a few titles coming up that I know I'll just end up buying again for the new console.
