I can afford a good PC, in fact, i already own a pretty decent PC. I'll still play it on console. I guess i'm stupid.

PC for me, eventually - not getting it on release.  

Thing is most of those "preferences" have not been valid for years If I wanted to i can hook my £3500 computer up to the 46inch TV in my front room sit on my couch and play any recent game Skyrim,BF3/4,Watch Dogs etc with a 360/XB1 pad or a PS3/PS4 gamepad,HOTAS,KB+M either individually or combinations of.

 

My games look better and run faster then their console ports, I can buy the latest releases for less on Steam/UPlay/Origin which only a couple of months back had BF3 for free for example) and i can play in 64 player lobbies instead of 32 hell my PC runs quieter and cooler with it being fully water cooled and if I want for some strange reason to go running around Skyrim in the Armor of Geralt in Witcher 2 well then I can.

That's fine, but a lot of people don't see the need to spend that much on a PC or importantly, can't, if they have other priorities in their life, where the "ideal" gaming setup (subjectively) isn't suited to their needs.  

 

The only "validation" is how much you're willing to spend from my perspective.

Why would one play a game with high details and high resolution first and play the same game with crappy textures and low resolution later on, with pretty much the same control scheme?

It's still three months away from release, and they're still pinpointing the exact minimum specs.
If you really want to know how it runs on your computer, you might try the Battlefield: Hardline Beta test. Or else go with specs somewhere between Battlefield 4 and Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare.

And if we where comparing apples to Oranges I'd say you had a point. PC Gaming Master Race, one advantage of playing online on a Console, you don't have to put up with them there. Sorry sorry I couldn't resist, but seriously, we get it, you have posted this in multiple threads now, why are you so insecure in your gaming machine that your on this crusade to make everyone play on yours? Why can't you just accept everyone has different needs and desires when it comes to gaming, and that we play as we see fit.

 

For myself hell I grew up with the first machine I can recall was the Spectrum +3 I've had many different types over the years including PC. I like my Console right now, maybe in a few years I'll change my view again but here is what I won't do. Spend hours trying to tell everyone else to play on my machine, play on the machine that best fits your own needs and means. If someone asks for advice give them it, honest advice not your Crusade, if they don't through, do not throw it in their faces, you actually just make people want to tell you to shut up instead of convincing them your machine is best. 

 

Oh as for me I'll be the on the Xbox One, when it came time to pick which console to upgrade to, I in the end, just decided I didn't feel like relearning the Dualshock.

PC for me.  I prefer the point and click set up with mouse and keyboard, I only ever use a console for sports games, everything else is pc.

It would be really nice if some of the PC players here weren't so condescending and insulting to those that choose a different platform. It's nice you feel so passionately about your choice, but no need to be rude to others. Everyone has their preferences. /mom talk

 

I personally have it pre-ordered for the PS4 and XboxOne. My 17 year old son has his own pre-order for the 360. My PC players aren't interested in anything other than League of Legends, so no plans to get it on Origin until a bit later.

PS4 Baby, Got it because of Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts (Square Enix FTW) and love Bioware games.  Plus my wife and sister likes to watch me play easier with the big screen =D

I dislike getting involved in these petty discussions because I'm a fan of games not platforms.

 

But while you're sat on your £3500 PC that's hooked up to your 46 inch TV... why don't you throw on... oh.. I dunno.. how about Uncharted 2, Gears of War 3, Halo: Reach, Metal Gear 4, The Last of US, Mario Kart 8, Zelda, Super Smash Bros... I could go on.

 

PC maybe the best platform, but the platform doesn't make the best game.

 

But I'll be getting DA:I on the PC.
