I need to separate my work computer from my gaming computer. I am planning to get an Alienware for that one. Might do it at Christmas tbh.

I would let you be aware that Alienware is majorly overpriced, tbh.

The quality isn't nearly as high as it was before Dell bought them, either.  I bought my current PC from Alienware, and I have had to replace 4 different failed components (HDD, RAM, PSU, GPU).

Pre-built branded PC? I learned my lesson when I was single digit year old ("gaming PC" with ATI RageIIc 3d graphics de-accelerator, software rendering was almost always faster option). They are overpriced and you don't get exactly what you want.

Assuming I buy it, PC.

360.

While I do have the games for PC (and I will eventually get DA:I for PC) my laptop is currently in its death throes and I don't want to really do anything else with it/put any more games on it until I can get a new PC.

I'll also probably get a copy for the Xbox One when I get it. Which will be at least a year and a half after its release because I like to know that any bugs have been fixed and I can probably get one during a special sale for a good price.

I also have a PS3 I could get a copy for (I'm that weird person who gets copies of games for every system owned) but honestly I hate the damn thing. PS systems drive me up the wall with their small (compared to Xbox) controllers and backwards trigger/bumper controls and list menu that I can't find anything on. Definitely not getting a PS4 since I already have an intense dislike for my PS2 and PS3.

360 AND Xbox One - Dragon Age is the only game I would do this for. All others are an either/or proposition.

Agreed. I may have went prebuilt but I sure in hell didn't go for a named brand (Alienware, Cyberpower, whatever). Too many horror stories and too much extra crap. (and the premiums are ridculous).

Since my savefiles are on PS3, I assume either PS3 or PS4, depending on whether I bought the latter yet by that time and if EA/BioWare can properly transfer save files.

PS3 should be notoriously difficult too, since all saves are encrypted. I just hope EA temporarily sets up a cloud to put save file choices on for the jump, maybe this'll even allow cross-platform save file importing.

My computer is so old that I couldn't even play Dragon Age: Origins on it. PS3 or PS4. If there are any saved files that's worthwhile for importing this time around it'll be PS3. If not, and there is a big difference in graphics between the two then I'll get it for PS4.

With Microsoft's recent turn around on several issues, I wonder if more people will consider the x-Box One.

I'm gonna stick with the 360 since I don't have to pay several hundred dollars for a PS4, same goes for the Xbox One. I'll admit if possible I'll try to get it for the PC if I ever get a decent one.

It's a step in the right direction and thankfully they did fix some issues, sadly for many people the damage is already done and it'll be hard for Microsoft to try to get pass the backlash from what we heard about the xbox one earlier.

PC. Definitely PC. Xbox One is a total "WTF". PS 4 is ... kinda meh to me. Seems like console gaming will have a sad year.

I didn't realize I was unreasonable. Seriously, don't turn this thread into a console war. Some of us are looking forward to the Xbox One. (Even before Microsoft changed their plans for it, yes shocking I know). Others are looking forward to the PS4, and others like their current consoles. Of course there are always PC gamers.

PC, definitely. I'm not exactly coordinated with a controller in my hands. There are very few games I'll even attempt if they aren't available for the PC. Thankfully, as Inquisition is going to be available for the PC, I don't really have to worry about it.

Well now you realize. Self awareness can be an amazing thing, use it wisely. ;)
