'Cause she's dog-ugly now.

-_-

If anything, age made her more lovely; much like a fine wine.

Fine wine can turn into soured vineagar if not stored properly. Posted Image

lol Not the case here.

She's no longer the young witch we knew from Origins, but she is still lovely. Besides, it's about more than physical attractiveness (even though she still has plenty of that). She still seems like that one rose in the center of the garden: beautiful to look at, but covered in thorns, all of which are ready to inflict injury, physical and emotional.

I can't wait to see hiw she's developed since Origins, and how her character will develop over Inquisition.

I really disliked Morrigan but never stabbed her when I played Witch Hunt because I just had no motivation to. Really if you didn't romance Morrigan or believe that evil apostates must be hunted down and killed you have no motivation to do any of the stuff you do in Witch Hunt.

"Why did you follow me?"

"Eh. I had nothing better to do after I killed The Mother and wiped out the darkspawn. Thought I'd see what you and Alistair's kid were up to."

While it'd be very easy to explain away why being run through didn't kill her, it's still possible she doesn't show up if you killed her.

I think it would only matter is The Warden plays a significant part of the story, for why would she tell us The Warden-Commander stabbed her when we don't know either of them?

It's possible that the famous Hero of Ferelden might eventually come up in conversation, and her attitude could be affected by past experiences.

That said, I don't think it's particularly important that this choice is recognized. It's a great choice for characterizing the Warden, but that's all.

Also, there's no save after the final conversation in Witch Hunt. That means that whether the Warden entered the eluvian, stabbed Morrigan, or neither, it's not recognized unless we give manual input to build the world-state.

They fixed it with patch 1.05, for it imported to my Dragon Age 2 game (at least for PC).

I was told by one of the posters on the BSN that only I thought the new Morrigan was ugly. Oh well.
People who stabbed her in witch hunt got retconned. Pure and simple.

I thought it killed her, maybe she's optional in the game?

Why would an optional character who might be dead be narrating the trailer?

Though I don't like Morrigan, I've never stabbed her (And I don't think the stab could have killed her).

This is Dragon Age. Even if you behead a character yourself it isn't guaranteed they'll die. And Morrigan's stabbing was ambiguous enough to get away with it.

Should she have a scar or reference to when the Warden could stab her? If we ever to talk to Morrigan you could ask her of her last encounter with the Warden resulting in either her being stabbed, departed together or left each other.

she is a mage and they can easily heal their wounds and even regenerate their lost limbs....she maybe would have scar if she wanted to not heal it for memory but i really doubt it....i think that she just said that Warden stab her or that she do not want to talk about her past

regen limbs? Did not know that.

^ I beheaded Zevran and he was still alive afterwards lol
I know alot of people who will take this to the heart and consider it a retcon from Bioware.

ummm you do know people can survive getting stabbed right?? I mean I know of at least 1 person who was stabbed something like 20-30 times and still lived.

Also as others have said, she is a mage and can more than likly heal herself. I'm sure Felimeth would teach her that much just so her investment doesn't die while she wasn't around.

Do you think we get to ask who beat her with the ugly stick? It was a bad beating. I prefer the original Morrigan. She was petty, spiteful, and manipulative with style. Now she's all painted tart-ish.

Pfft, right. As opposed to DA:O where her makeup and dress were subtle and understated.

Firstly people are way too hung up on fictional person looks. Secondly, Morrigan has never been particularly attractive. And I don't think SWAMPBEAUTY was supposed to be the main draw of the character either.

Just saying folks, you never had the option to kill Morrigan.

The option specifically stated that you would "attack" her. Not kill her.

No retcon whatsoever.

Whether you choose to let her go through the Eluvian, go with her or stab her, that decision imports into DA2, there's no retcon. Also, she falls through the Eluvian if you stab her. That, right there, screams that she's not gonna die. I don't accept a character dies if I don't see a body and they don't disappear from the party selection screen. Seeing as we don't have a party selection screen in Witch Hunt, I'll go only with the body and we don't get that. Therefore, no reason to believe she's dead from the get go. You already know she's one crafty b**** with many tricks up her sleeve. :bandit:
