People aren't upset that she's almost certainly going to be alive despite the option of killing her?

They made her ugly so people would forget about that.

Because I believe devs stated that she didn't die after the DLC, and her story wasn't done

Well, the option you were given was to attack her not kill her, and she falls through the mirror still alive...so I don't think there is enough proof that she is dead for people to get mad about it.
I'm sure some will be upset though.

Why? Well she isn't a companion anymore and basically tried to blackmail you into conceiving a child with her-one that would have the soul of an old god. I can see why some people would stab her.
She didn't blackmail you into anything.
She proposes the idea, and you're given a choice to go along with it or decline.
Yes she did. The whole reason that she was sent with the Warden was to conceive an old gold baby and she never told him anything until the end... and if you refuse she just run away before the final fight.

Well, you're right that she doesn't attempt blackmail. What she does is more like extortion.

Why would an optional character who might be dead be narrating the trailer?
I actually hope they put her in trailer exactly because she's not that visible in the game (apart from being narrator, perhaps). It's probably not going to happen, but one can dream *shrugs*

Well, considering my Warden went with her I am hoping she wont be a romance option in Inquisition. If she'll even be a companion at all. She seemed really happy when you decided to leave everything behind to be with her and go with her into the unknown. I'd like to think she was faithful and will remain faithful to my Warden.
She isn't even companion, so its doubtful that she will be romancable. Also Warden is probably dead, especially if you went with her - killed in some magic sex ritual. That way bioware don't have to worry about him/her.

Should she have a scar or reference to when the Warden could stab her? If we ever to talk to Morrigan you could ask her of her last encounter with the Warden resulting in either her being stabbed, departed together or left each other.
The game does not save after you finish that quest so they would have to implement something to let you choose. Most likely they just made a canon choice for everyone.
from what i understand they fixed it with a patch...

Unless I completely misunderstood, the game is targetting next gen consoles. They're not even backwards compatible. You won't be able to bring your save over at all. Also, there's no save after the final conversation in Witch Hunt. That means that whether the Warden entered the eluvian, stabbed Morrigan, or neither, it's not recognized unless we give manual input to build the world-state.
It would only be possible to save import on PC, but I don't see them doing PC any favors.

You don't have the option of killing her. You have the option of attacking her. There's no reason to believe that wound was fatal.David7204 wrote...

I got With Hunt only about a year ago, so I can't attest to how the game reacted when the DLC first came out but, right now, it autosaves after the decision to either let her go, attack her or go with her and then the credits role. That's why DA2's import acknowledges the choice you made there based on exactly what you did.

Well, not anymore. It was a perfectly viable interpretation at the end of Witch Hunt, though.

Player agency. Which is pretty much defined as the player's actions leading to the intended results. The player attacked her to kill her.Sylvius the Mad wrote...

Some concession is made in agency for combat, just to make combat interesting and provide for a challenge. So you get rules that can arbitrate against agency. But this wasn't rules and game systems arbitrating for challenge and excitement, it was a writer arbitrating because that writer chose his outcome over the player's wishes. Which I don't think is cool, it just opens up all the classic DM abuse of invincible enemies and bad guys teleporting away at the last second then gloating about it. Oh hey!
Still, I hate all you people that tried murdering my waifu. But I will stand up for your right to do it.

She can heal herself with magic. Unless the description given in the Calling only closed wounds, not huge freaking holes xD

It was about as viable as believing that Corypheus actually died at the end of Legacy, which is to say that only for someone who had really big blinders on could it even come close to being true.
