Surely this is the hardest thing ever, I put tactics so that my team attack the one I target, the spirit, but they never do and I end up dying before I can destroy that statue thing, any tips?

I just did typical tank (Alistair with shield wall and threaten) with others doing ranged attacks and breezed through. You are touching the anvils when they glow, correct?

Yeah I got a really bad party though, dwarf dude, Shale and Morigan :(

And thay attack different spirits and because I have the Legion armour they all attack me, oh and I used most of my health thing on the Broodmother :(

Put the Legion armour on the dwarf dude then? :) but seriously, it is hard so you might want to derail from "tactics do not work I fail" slow down a bit - pause the game or/and micro-manage more. Party on Hold, your character can do range damage yes?, let Shale with defensive buff to tank, the dwarf dude next to her, check you inventory if you have any Spirit balms (it does some kind of magical spirit damage at the end?) or Swift Salves for example, well use all available means Morrigan charms included, and you should be able to beat it in few tries.

Ok well the dwarf isn't strong enough, I got 2 handed weapon talents, all of them and nothing else.

And I'll try again, already failed many many times

They seriously made this thing too hard, took out all the sides once and then one side fully, then died

If everything fails, lower difficulty or leave and come back with health pots .. even if you will win, there will be more fighting to do. Not that I want to scare you, by all means go for it.

I play on PS3, and that encounter just seemed really buggy to me. I had tactics on all my chars to attack what I was attacking, and seemed to have the same problem you described where my group would just attack everything randomly no matter what.

I ended up parking my team right at the entrance to the zone and pulling spirits one by one back to my them. I had to place them on hold as soon as they killed the spirit, or else they would take off running back to the middle even though nothing was attacking.

Took a while, but it worked for me.

It would have been better to lockdown the harder targets and clear out the weaker ones.

Put your party on hold...get them all to target the nearest spirit....but wait for it to come to them first...then attack it...the other spirits won't attack if nobody goes near them. Touch the anvil that glows to destroy the faces that rotate. Gradually you get down to just 1 spirit.

It's lot easier than trying to kill Branka that i do know.

I'm on PC and that encounter always seemed wonky to me, too--instead of following their tactics, the whole party would just run up to the spirit anvil thing and just stand there.  That's happened all 3 times I've gone through there.  I just pause constantly and micromanage and that gets me through it.

My strategy has been to put the party on hold and stand each party member near an anvil.  That way, I can select each anvil really fast when it starts glowing, and destroy the faces faster--and the faster the faces get destroyed, the fewer enemies you have to deal with.

It's a strange encounter. The only thing I know to do is put your party on hold and kill the spirits one by one manually, same as others have said.
