I had a romance with Ashley in one and in two I have been flirting with Miranda. Is there anyway to romance Miranda and go back to Ashley in 3. Without killing Miranda. Please help!!

Yes, i believe there is. In ME2 after you complete the suicide mission, go to Miranda and call off your relationship. If it doesn't work then start a romance with someone else [Jack or Tali] which guarentees the end of your romance with Miranda.
What triggers Miranda's death is if you break up with her the very first time you meet her in ME3.
