I am a huge Mass Effect fan (especially 2) and what I love is how customizable everything is. The decisions you make can influence what later happens in the game, the writing is really good, and my character is even customizable. You also get to know those in your party realy well and interact with them, which kind of makes me appreciate them more and get more attached to them. I love the drama and even the romance storylines. So, I started to play Dragon Ages: Origins and Dragon Age II within the past month and have really enjoyed both. I am wondering if there are other games like Mass Effect and Dragon Age I can play. I have tried Fallout and Fable and didn't really like either. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Customizable RPGs like DA and ME

I guess the obvious choices would be the other Bioware action RPGs. The two Knights of the Old Republic games (second was made by Obsidian, but it plays the same), and The Old Republic MMO:- if the MMO part doesn't bother you (you can still play through the story missions completely solo if you prefer).
Other than that, the Witcher and it's sequel are the only other ones I can think of in the same vein (less customisable, but the freedom of choice and and diverging storyline makes up for that a lot, more so in the sequel).
There's also the older Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights series, although you might find them a bit clunky compared to modern games.

I second IRMcGhee's suggestions. I'd add that given the things you mention enjoying, you'd probably like Neverwinter Nights 2. NWN1 has a pretty poor single player campaign, but NWN2 has a pretty good story, and you have a party, with various interactions and a few romance options.
Baldur's Gate 2 might just be the best game Bioware ever made - if you aren't bothered by the dated graphics and play style, you'll have endless hours of great story to look forward to. What's also great about BG2 is the tactical nature of battles - a battle may seem nearly impossible, till you sit down, think about it for a minute, look thorugh your skills, spells and potions, and devise a strategy, instead of rushing in head-long; that same battle may, with a good tactic, turn out to be a breeze.
The character writing in BG2 is also absolutely top notch. You can gather a party with you that will bring all sorts of interactions, not all of them positive - some potential party members just won't get along. You might also lose your romance interest to one silver tongued companion (the bastard!). The game is full of characters you love, and love to hate.
