hey Bioware.

yeah.. with the new generation of consoles fast approaching (PS4/XBox 1), and the fact that there is zero backwards compatibility.. im gonna need you to create a bundle on PC that includes the trilogy and all DLC.  i'd rather not have to keep my 360 around for just one game (well 3 to be exact).

gonna need you to get that done asap k.  that be great.  thx.

now get those TPS reports done! :police:

If they do that, please put a complete trilogy set out on PS4/Xbox Done, with some new features as well as PC.

I doubt it would happen. I guess one of the things developers like about DLC is that it maintains is price, whereas the game dops rapidly. Any full-edition ME edition would likely drop to around 20 euros, as did the DA ultimate edition. This way they are making much more money of each cutomer. Probably the games will be rereleased for the next generation consoles, but I guess you would have to buy the DLC again.

as an alternative.. you could just have a package special on origin that includes everything and mark it at 75% off or something. and for those that only need certain parts.. have each item on sale individually as well.

While this is true, I would argue that a sale would encourage those that haven't purchased the DLC to go ahead and do so. I'm one of those people. I will not buy at the current price. And I'm sure many others feel that way. For the people that don't, they've already bought the DLC. A week long sale would get the relectant to buy and Bioware would make extra money. If they rerelease to try and reach a new crowd, ... well, the sale is done. The new crowd would need to buy at full price. And so the cycle continues.

That's actually the best shot at ever getting full Trilogy pack. It's quite possible that EA will port the Trilogy for PS4 and Xdone to rack up new sales with the approaching ME4 release. Pretty much what Sony did with God of War Collection before God of War 3 came out.

I just want some sort of offer on the dlc for ME3, its a joke that the game is £5 of origin but the DLC is always, always full price. Consoles get sales on the dlc so not sure why it doesnt happen on PC.

This made me giggle inside.

I'd love a complete set too. And my dream come true would be a complete set with a commentary track. I don't know how that could be implemented in a game, but if someone figured that out, it could be legen...

wait for it...

Why do you think the DLC has the points system? It's there to ensure there will almost never be any sales. EA treats vanilla games as launchpad for DLC. By the time the vanilla games hit bargin bin price, there's $40+ of DLC for most EA games

...dary, legendary!

I would just like to point out how much hell would break loose if they tried to re-charge people for DLC on XBOX Live/Playstation Network that they've paid exorbitant fees for. Anyone who hasn't bought it, sure but even reworking content to work on new consoles, buying the new games would be a steep enough price. I already draw issue that I'm going to have to keep my 360 alive by whatever means as long as possible once Live goes down for it to hold onto my DLC.
The DLC for Mass Effect 3 all up was in XBL points about sixty dollars, I think. They knew the launch of new gen was coming and if they re-release without ultimates, they need to be prepared to give 360/PS3 users the ability to redeem their DLC across. This isn't like the last generational crossover- they sold us bits of the game at premium prices and the initial game's message was 'continue Shepard's adventure with more DLC'. There's no way that they would be disadvantaged by making sure that gamers who actually did that can maintain the DLC they paid for. It's no different to switching across computers because I reckon fee or no, new gen would have a whole new cadre of bugs and game breaking glitches regardless how high the price was.

But I would love a PC ultimate edition for Mass Effect 3 and those complaining that the game would get discounted with enough time seriously don't live in the world. Every form of technology becomes cheaper over time and EA and Bioware owe that reality for their success. Otherwise there would be fewer televisions, consoles and less sales. Most of those who would buy it are fans who would get it quickly and casual players- well a lot of them played with zero import and jumped to the next game. With PC, they don't have to worry about the second hand market portion. They could also have a copy on their Origin stores as well as ultimate edition upgrades that never discount, so the same arguments don't apply.

I really hope they do this. I don't use an internet connection with my consoles, so I've never played any of the DLC. It would be great to have a DAO-style ultimate edition with all of it on the disc.

I would really love a complete package for the next gen consoles. It would definitely encourage a few more play throughs since there are a couple DLC's I'm missing. It's a lot to ask for, but I'd also love maybe an exclusive DLC with it that runs about 3-5 hours of time (or more.. haha)

I think it is wishful thinking that they would put the complete trilogy (redone in next gen graphics) on PS4/Xbone because they would have to recreate the games.  Unreal Engine was used for all the games.  EA and BioWare are pretty much Frostbite Engine all the way, so they would have to redo most, if not all, those assets.

But one can dream... :innocent:

Of course. I'm not expecting it will happen, since they haven't made ultimate editions for any of the Mass Effect games before, but I hope they decide to do it eventually. Either next gen or current gen is fine with me.

I never said redone/redevloped. Just ported. Same content, engine, graphics etc just played on PS4/Xbone. Like God of War 1&2 was ported for PS360, Hitman Trilogy, MGS Collection etc. There's money in that, especially soon before a franchise gets a new release. God of War collection sold couple millions thx to hype of the then-in-developement God of War 3.
