Okay no matter what happens in ME4 it better involve Miranda in some way. I am not ready to say good by to that ass.

After the ME3's ending you owe me this much bioware. lol :P

But no in all seriousness, I think she's a pretty intersting character, I wonder if she could make a protaginsit for the new game or at least feature in it prominently? Personally I think so, but hey who knows. Thoughts?

If Shepard is a mangled hunk of flesh, but alive.. she's probably the best person for the job.

Doubtful, honestly. Of course, due to her being genetically engineered, she has a longer lifespan (+50%). But that still just makes it about 220 years, given the mentioned average human lifespan of 150 years. During ME3 she's 36,so let's just assume she has 190 years left.

Given the circumstances of the endings I'd say they place NextME in a future that's farther away than 190 years. So I'd say that the chances of meeting her again are very low.

Except maybe with the synthesis ending taken into accoutn. Of course everyone lived happily ever, EVER after with that one

Chris Priestly doesn't help much here. ""I see people saying, 'Well, they'll have to pick a canon ending.' No, because the game does not have to come after. Or before. Or off to the side. Or with characters you know. Or yaddayaddayadda. Wherever, whenever, whoever, etc. will all be revealed years down the road when we actually start talking about it.

That basically doesn't leave any options at all.

But... That ass... :( I guess that's not a compelling enough reason for bioware to keep this particular character though lol

She can be dead.

This should complicate any bigger role, don't you think?

Unless it's a prequel, I don't see her being involved, unfortunately.

However, an Episodes from Liberty City-style spin-off that featured mini-adventures with old characters set during significant periods (Thane's assassinations, Garrus the cop or vigilante, Wrex the mercenary, etc.!) would be fantastic. I found a lot of the characters interesting in their own right so would love to see more of them.

I would like to see Miranda again, to me she's the most intersting character of the series, but I doubt it will happen.

Now let the haters show begin ...

She's the best character (that isn't Shepard) in the series for me, of course I'd love to see her. Hell, she's my favorite female character in any media.

Though granted, if it's a sequel, the game probably won't acknowledge her much.

That said, I really don't want to see any more Mass Effect. Thus far, it seems that a prequel is the choice that they're taking with the game.

Wow. We actually agree.

Not about the meh part, but still.

Ashley is the only character I hate more than Tali.

I agree, Ash is the worst character in the game. She's religious, ignorant, arrogant, dumb, incapable, xenophobic and disrespectful.
The only thing good about her, is the name(refference to Bruce Campbell).

Wait...
Being religious is bad thing now?

Her religiousness is not really a fair negative. It's not as if she beats you over the head with her piety.

Fair point, but all other facts considered, she's still one of the most unlikeable characters in ME. Even worse than Miranda.

I think you're being a bit objective with your opinions now.

I find Miranda to be the best character in the series, likability be damned.

Ashley, though I hate her guts, is loved by a lot of people. I don't think it's fair that you're completely denying her her likability because you don't like her.

I certainly have no love for Tali, for reasons I don't need to elaborate on here. Would it be fair for me to say that she's one of the most unlikable characters in the series and that I think that her fans are some of the most disturbing fans for a character I've ever seen, bordering on some kind of obscene fetish? No. Is that how I feel? That's not important, but yes, it is. But I'm not going to pretend that my opinion is anyone elses other than my own.

Miranda one of the best characters? You've got to be kidding me, she's ok but not great. Garrus, Thane, Mordin, Tali and Jacob were all more interesting in character and background.

I really like Tali and the Quarians in general and she's probably my favourite character in the series, but that's it. I know there is some seriously disturbing Tali fans out there, but only a tiny fraction of her entire fan base is like that.

Miranda is interesting to me because she just wants to be normal. Sounds boring at first, but there's a lot to say about that, in light of everything she and Shep have pulled off or been engineered to be in her case. They keep developing this theme in ME3. Not as much as I like, but enough to keep me interested.

To each their own though. I like a lot of the characters. I don't need to compare them, unless they're directly similar.

She's ok as I said, but I wasn't as intrigued by her background, as by Jacob's for example(loyalty mission). Her ruthless character somewhat antagonizes her.

Maybe not as a protagonist but i really think it could be very, very interesting indeed to see her when she was in her years at Cerberus.
