No. Dragon Age origins is a single player role playing game.
The only online usage of the game is that when you register your game (go to my games > register game) that the game will update on your online profile with acheivments and information about your character(s).

it originaly was to be multiplayer when it was originally for just the PC, once it went console and multi platform, they withdrew that feature.

No, Dragon Age: Origins was always going to be a single player RPG, even when it was first announced in 2004 as PC only and simply named 'Dragon Age.'NightmarezAbound wrote...

From what I've read when I was following the game pre-release was that it was designed to follow the tradition of single-player PC-RPGs such as Kotor series and Jade Empire. I'm not sure but I think Star Wars: The Old Republic might be Bioware's first real attempt at a proper multiplayer game.

NWN used to have a huge online community and that was a long time ago but since then i guess the old republic is proabbly Biowares latest multiplayer game.
