First off I´m very happy that we get to play arround with this character creation tool now, gotta love it,

There are some minor things though, people have already mentioned the teeth(I really do hope that is a matter of lighting) and the big hands and feet, but something that really bug me is the eyelashes. Their stubby!

Especially for a female character longer fuller lashes would be great.

If the toolset is do-able for someone with little to no experience I might be doing some cosmetic work :)

Also I'm one of those who would love the option of long hair. I do realize there are some issues with that, like clipping, or it being static... but if someone makes a half decent set I'll certainly try it.

Maybe you can buy mascara in Denerim? Morrigan might be able to recommend a salon…

Yup, clipping would be the problem all right, on the hair.

I wish there were curly hair, but there very rarely is ;) I wonder if the hair meshes people make for games like the Sims can be converted to the format DA:O uses. If so, there's an abundance of models out there.

In most RPGs, though, the hair is replaced almost right away by a helmet.

Very true, but I'm kinda hoping that is is the case with WoW you have the option to wear the helmet but not see it :) so stats yes, funky looking helmet no :)

Have to agree about the eyelashes - I can COUNT them, and that is in no way healthy or realistic :D As for hair - all you need to do is rig the long hair to the back, it was done countless times for all the games that I know and will be done in DA:O. It's likely I'll be making several hairstyles my self. As for Sims hair - the meshes can be converted, but there is an issue of copyright - most of those meshes are pay and belong to creators, other are rip offs from Poser and that is technically illegal, and the free once that an author actually owns a copyright to are few and fare between, so no, you woun't be seing Sims hair here.

Definately agree.  I'd be happy if we had the braid that the guys have.  I do like most of the styles but a few more would be nice.  and eyelashes.  :)

Yes. Oh god yes. I always remove helmets either through a mod or option or.. I just don't wear them.

am hat-phobic. I am like this offline. I never wear hats.  You'd think a hat killed my mother.

There is a popular website that makes free meshes.. if someone were to get her permission I'm sure she'd allow them to converted to Dragon Age.

I know they've been converted to Oblivion already ... I think it's called XMSims.

Some of the mods from dragon age nexus have the NPCs with longer eyelashes, but the problem that happens is clipping when the eyes shut. The best you can do in the toolset while messing with a head morph is go to part section > lashes texture and browse the folder for the other eyelash file. It gives it a somewhat of a more fuller look. The file is called pm_ulm_bas_0d. Then you can go into the eyes section and adjust the eyelash fan and eyelash length. Just remember there will be clipping when the eyes shut.

THe could always do a long ponytail and have some hair framing the face. That would look nice.
