Remember those weapons that you used a long time ago and they felt really cool at the time, and even when you aquired "better" guns you could always find a time to make the former weapon useful. But long time to now, and power creep has obliterated that weapon for you.

That sucks.

Mine would be the Vindicator. There was a time that the Vindicator was considered to be the single best balanced weapon in the entire game. Now the damage requirements have been brought up so high that it'd be more effective to just through the entire weapon at the enemy than take the time to shoot the thing.
Poor Vindicator.

Actually I'm the opposite. I've found that weapons I thought I had no time or use for are actually usable. However, I will forever be upset that ME3 ruined the revanant and phalanx.

I never used the 'cool' weapons until they were post nerf, like the Krysae sniper rifle. I really like it as it is but, then, I never got to experience it pre-nerf.

Ive been reusing the falcon alot more now, trying to stay away from the reegar and acolyte. cryo rounds on the falcon makes it more of a stagger machine.

Unfortunately, the Crusader, Wraith and several other shotguns have left this gun in the dust, but I used to love that thing.

Assault Rifles- Revenant: I like it and use it every now and then
SMG-Tempest: Big clip and I like the sound and look of it.
Shotgun-Scimitar: Yes it is weak but I use it on the Marsman Turian for fun.
Pistol-Carnifex: I used to equip this gun all the time. It is still a good gun.
Sniper Rifle-Viper: The ME2 version was just soooo gooood

Actually I am: I did not use the Paladin (one of the best pistols) for what, 6 months?

The predator is such a cool weapon with look and feel, and yet it's damage is nothing...

It's gotta be the Avenger for me.
First gun I beat gold with and has such a nice feel and sound to it. Alas, I can't even blame power creep, it's just not good and never really was

Oh, the weapons left in the dust are still viable on Bronze and Silver ... take them out for old time's sake and to complete a challenge, if that is your want.

My old standbys were the Mattock and Phalanx, plus the Viper, Eviscerator and Hornet.

It's still fun to take them out to play, but I don't take them to Gold, I don't have the skills of others to make those weapons viable and not hurt the team on Gold.

I miss them after a while, but that's what the challenges are for ... on Silver.

Same here. What I'm gonna say is probably some form of heresy here. Back in my scrubby ME3 beginnings, when I first got High Lord Claymore & didn't know about reload cancelling, I hated the gun because it was only one shot & it took forever to restore my powers so into the closet it went. Reload cancelling fundamentally changed the way I thought about how I play. Now I dunno how I lived w/ the Claymore/Wraith/Javelin/Black Widow.

Carnifex. Brought me to silver last year. Then I started to play kits rather than AA and never touched it except for the challenge.

Mattock Viper Scimitar and Locust were great guns in SP and I started using them first in MP. Shame that they were nerfed for the MP and then overpowered by the new weapons. .
Carnifex was my fav gun but the Talon is just too good in every situation ( Acolyte excepted) so just no reason to go back to the old pistols.

I loved the Mattock. Still do. That solid sounding thud when you fire it. But, I rarely take it anywhere now.
