Unlock relocked archer specialization after patch?

I had bought the archer book for when my bard hit level 14, consequently none of my characters have this skill and the book is no longer available.

Is the book still in inv. when you go in through LT? If you used it there or in reg inv. the spec. pic should be lit up at next lvl even if it's not usable. It saves to profile for all characters but the patch that was to fix the dlc ach. messed this up. If you are having difficulties clear cache and wait or play for a half hour, then restart. After 30 min delay all previously unlocked specs. came back for some of us. Sys. settings, memory, hit Y on hardrive screen, then yes to maint. and scroll to clear cache. It just deletes updates not saves or dlc. Hope that's not info overload. Gluck.

I'm in the same boat. I lost spirit healer specialization (book disappeared from my inventory an became an unlockable specialization immediately after I bought it. After the infamous xbox update, the specialization has now locked/disappeared.
You are one of the few people saying that I can just clear cache and "wait" for 30 minutes. Everyone else has a 10-step process listed out.
If this really works, I would much rather do it this way. When you say wait...just keep the xbox on 30 minutes? Also, for restart...just do a save, turn off system and then "resume" game? Sorry...

Sorry for the delay. I had noticed someone saying he got his back after 30 without unlocking a spec.so I tried it myself. Mine were locked while I played a new char to level 6. I then did CC and played till I was ready for level 7. Showed four locks but when I turned box off and restarted the 4 rogue specs were lit up. I've seen five or six people saying this worked without buying a book or getting retrained. I have finally got my GT linked to this acct. so maybe that makes a diff. The threads about the long version of the fix keep growing though so it must not work for everyone. Hope it does for you. Since you have to clear the glitched patch anyway it's worth a try.

I actually did the cache clear. Loaded up a save in my camp (just so I could see all my characters that were ready to level up) and my specializations are now miraculously back. I couldn't verify Morrigan's spirit healer because she was not ready to level yet but my Champion, assasin and few others were back that were showing gone before the cache clear. It ended up being a painless process. Thanks!
