Hi all. I really need help! I'm confused as to how i can sacrifice myself at the ending after killing the archdemon. I'm playing as a female elf mage and i didn't do morrigan's ritual, i put alistair on the throne and i made him and the main character have a relationship. Well i decided to take Alistair in the party to fight the archdemon, and every time the cutscene comes up alistair is always the one to sacrifice himself. I know its only a matter of choosing the right dialogue, but i don't know which one =/ i'm starting to think i shouldn't have taken alistair with me lol
Final ending help!!

If you take Alistair with you, he will always make the sacrifice. Always.

Leave Alistair @ the gate.

If alistair is in love with a female PC he will always kill himself. Only way to avoid it is to never take him with you up to the tower.

Didn't seem to have problems with this. Just break up with him before the final battle?

Alistair will offer to scarfice himself if he is with you. You can then decide wether to allow him to or not. If you are in a relationship with him and take him to the final battle he will always scarfice himself. If you scarfice Alistair (or Loghain) you get the achievement Warden-Commander. If you scarfice the PC you get the achievement Ultimate Scarfice.
