Huh. She seems more filled out in DAI, to me.

I'm much more inclined to say "People like different things" and to suggest that this tangent drops.

I find this thread odd.
"She has a giant jaw! It's huge!"
It's not that big, really. She does have very strong features though. I agree.
"Well you should change them!"
Why?
"So she would be prettier!"
What makes you think that making her conventionally pretty was the artists' primary goal?
"If she's not pretty enough, I won't want to have sex with her!"
I'm sure she'll be terribly disappointed, assuming she's even a romance.
"It doesn't matter if she's a romance!"
Ah. Well, you should probably know that we don't evaluate every character in the game by how pretty or how handsome they are. The artists are interested in making distinctive characters, not supermodels.
"Those are not mutually exclusive!"
No, I wouldn't normally think so either, but perhaps we're not reading the same thread.
Personally, I think there's bound to be some tweaking in the months to come-- so feel free to comment away-- but if anyone believes that tweaking will be aimed solely at making her more "pleasing to the eye" they've got another thing coming. Just FYI.

I think part of why some people have voiced their concerns about Cassandra's apperance isn't that she isn't 'pretty enough', but rather that she looks different from how she did in DA2.
I'll agree on that front. Much of the tweaking that's been done on Cassandra to date (and likely what further tweaking would focus on) has been to make her align more closely with her DA2 appearance. That said, it's a new engine and thus the overall style has changed... so even if her features from DA2 were exactly replicated, she wouldn't look the same (aside from also looking a bit out of place next to the rest of the characters).
So, yes, this is an interpretation of Cassandra in the new engine. So long as someone can look at her and say "yes, that is recognizeably Cassandra", we're happy.
And I personally do think she's recognizeably Cassandra (albeit I also have the benefit of seeing her in-game, and in various lightings, and not just from single screenshots). So I am not bothered. Others might disagree, and that's fine, though I do find some of the hyperbole used by some of those claiming otherwise to be amusing.
