Cassandra's new look--Yay or Nay?

In the only screenshots i saw, her face looked really nice.
Her jaw isn't as big as people make it out to be. It is slightly bigger, but Samara had wider jaws then that and she's beautiful, so i don't see what the big deal is. Cass just looks like a woman to me.
I also like her new hair and eyes. Her neck is a bit thin though, but it might look too big if they make it wider.
She looks better than in DA2, so i'd say "yay!"

yeah, I kinda like her the way they want to present her. A female warrior in the middle age would be closer to a triathlon athlete than a supermodel, so that's totally ok for me for Cass to have some heavier bone structure and some muscle on those bones.Lluthren wrote...
I saw the lady in the trailer was Cass right away, so i have no problems with her face there.

I liked Avaline.
Thought she was attractive and should have been a DA2 Li.
Never understood why Bioware wanted her to be unattractive .
One Bioware employee who shall remain nameless called complaints about Cassandra and Morrigan 's faces "ridiculous ".
shrugs.
Hope they change their minds on that.

I never really saw a "bad" or "ugly" face shape In a Dragon age game, and if they just never change anyones look at all anyone new would might look like the characters in DAO.

Same here, but I thought her chin looked kind of elfish. Too thin.

My personal feelings on ME3 aside, you guys over at Bioware have my sympathy for putting up with this nonsense. A woman doesn't need to have textbook good looks in order to be attractive to men. Personally I think there's something sexy about her, and that's a result of subtley, not because she has a perfect 10 body. Her personality, her strength, and what she stands for brings out the beauty in her, and I see it. I look forward to interacting with her in DA:I and see what she brings to the table.

I guess that's ok for them.
Whether new to DA players will look at that and not see the flaws remains to be seen.

And some just don't care. The change isn't so stark that it bothers me. As I said, in the new Xbox magazine, Cassandra's face doesn't look too wide, so the other screenshot was most likely an old one. I see Morrigan as being ten years older--it suits her.
Maybe your fandom is running away with you and you can't let go of the "old" look. /shrug

Yay, very yay. I hope she is a good LI option for a female Inquisitor. Might just be the first really interesting lesbian LI I've seen so far then.
Agree 100%. I thought the same thing when I saw her in the trailer.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, since I didn't read through the thread. If so, I apologize for being redundant, but in the new Xbox magazine, it showed a screenshot of Cassandra and her jaw wasn't wide at all. It looked quite normal. In fact, she looked much, much softer.
Hmm, has this pic been uploaded yet?

Or they just don't care? Neither of their new looks are hideous and it makes sense that A)There would be changes between engines andAngrywolves wrote...

Impossible to get the same look with a new engine, impossible.

If they're new to the franchise, then they're unlikely to care do to a lack of familiarity with the previous two games.Angrywolves wrote...

To me, it's not about making her look *pretty*, but making her look tolerant to the senses. It's like, if I played with the character creator and gave my hero a big nose or fat lips or no neck.
